The world is continuously suffering from natural disasters due the effects of climate change. There are over 200 active forest fires in Canada, destroying our natural resources that keep climate change from getting even worse. I have designed these climate change forest fire stickers to promote awareness and action against climate change. The stickers are meant to show over time (symbolized by the hourglass), how climate change will affect the planet’s trees through rapidly increasing forest fires. For each stickers sold, 15% of the profits will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross for the 2023 Canada Wildfire Fund. The fund helps with Canadian relief, recovery and risk reduction activities such as mitigation and climate change adaption. Don’t be fooled by the near-blizzards we’ve endured in recent weeks. The vast, white fields of snow that blanket Canada each winter are shrinking, particularly in Quebec, due to climate change.

The federal government report warns Canada's Arctic is most affected by the changing climate.
Our planet is literally swimming in plastic! And it is getting more serious and irreversible every day. Why is there no bottle return deposit charged on water bottles? Why is water different than beer, soda, or any other beverage, when it is sold and consumed exactly the same way? Water is by far the most bought and consumed beverage on the planet, and something needs to be done. Why does wil
In Oslo, street lamps are powered by renewables. To conserve energy, the smart lights dim when nobody is around. The Norwegian capital, like the rest of the country, is proud of its exceptional green credentials. Its public transportation system too is powered entirely by renewable energy. Two thirds of new cars sold in the city are electric. There’s even a highway for bees.
Researchers discover a wholesale replacement of plankton species that form the base of Great Slave Lake’s food chain
By now, scientists have made it as clear as they can that climate change is real and greenhouse gas emissions are to blame. But what is perhaps less well known is the natural role the Arctic plays in both accelerating climate change and spreading its often disastrous consequences around the world.
This complete bundle teaches all about how people have traditionally adapted to live in their climate. It also explains the differences between climate and weather. Each part of this bundle is designed to compliment the other. After watching the video (along with the accompanying notes) the teacher can walk the class through the similar (but more detailed) slideshow to facilitate discussion on the various points being taught. The student booklet has worksheets which accompany the slideshow and allow for the students to show their understanding of the knowledge. **************************************************************************** Customer Tips: How to get TPT credit to use on future purchases: Please go to your My Purchases page (you may need to login). Climate change is real and humans are causing it.
A Small House is a tribute to the endless artistic inventiveness of architects and ingenuity of perception of the familiar and known concepts. It is also a conscious pivot towards sustainability and reduction of impact on the environment as well as a daring attitude of change in lifestyle. As humanity faces inevitable pressures such as climate change, an increase in population, and strain on resources, these solutions are helping shape what the world may look like in the future.Whether in the dense urban areas of Tokyo, the wilderness of Australia, the woods of Canada, or a rooftop in Ecuador, this is the world of Small Houses. The one common point they share, is that they all have an area of no more than 100 square meters. Spanning 25 countries such as Brazil, Hungary, South Korea, Netherlands, USA, Japan, and Australia, described here there are houses designed by 57 architects, including Takeshi Hosaka’s Love2 House, Aranza de Ariño’s Casa Tiny, and the work of Jakub Szczesny, Charles Pictet, Lada Hršak, BIG, and Fran Silvestre, among others. This is a journey not only through recent evolutions in architectural design and creativity, but it is also a step toward a more sustainable world.
