Kids absolutely adore these easy toilet paper crafts for beginners. These crafts are the best way to keep kids busy indoors.
This has been a very popular invitation! It's super simple, there's no pop-up or anything at all, just the cut-out silhouette of a knight. I'll sometimes put the face of the birthday child in place of the knight's face. Read about my work at: mollyleecards.blogspot.com/
Remember when you were a kid how magical it was when the summer sun finally set at the end of the day and the fireflies came out and you never wanted to come inside even though your older sister told you your house was built on a graveyard and the zombies would come out at night? Well, here’s a super quick craft to help your kids feel a little bit of that magic. These fireflies are super easy to make. Just pop a flameless LED tealight into a plastic Easter egg.
Well, Grammie Camp over. All that I can say is, we had a blast and it's so awesome to spend time with my grandkids. These are the best kids in the World. I first have to say that this camp would have been impossible to do without my sister's help. She's so organized and resourceful comes to kids crafts. She really helped me plan the activities and all the logistics of the 4-day camp. She also brought along a surprise Junior Camp Councillor - Caileigh, who worked along and helped with the kids on all the projects. She was so fun to have around. One of the very first crafts we started working on, on Day 1, was tye dying our camp shirt. Here you can see the kids who are holding their tye-dye shirts in the dye solution. After using spiral, squares and elastic techniques to fold the white tshirts, there was much anticipation as to what our individual shirts would look like. As each child unrolled their crumbled bundle one by one, we all oooh'd and awwww'd at how wonderful the t-shirts came out. They were all different and beautiful. Here you can see the T-shirt backs as we walked up the lane. And here you can see that we had our "official" Grammie Camp 2010" Photo taken on the cottage steps and we were wearing our camp tshirts. Also on Day 1, the kids each started a major paper mache project and you'll see some of that tomorrow. It is a multi stage project that the kids would work on for 4 days. There was also a little time for a swim, a paddle, a campfire with smores, and a late movie - Homeword Bound. I'm sure we had a couple of meals and snacks on that first day, but who can remember that long ago.

Marshmallow S’more Pops recipe perfect for any holiday party
Summer is officially here and it’s HOT out! My kids have been enjoying more than their fair share of ice cream and ice pops pretty early on in the morning. But what about Mom? If you’re looking for a treat where you still get your morning coffee AND can cool off, you’ll love these Kahlua […]
I've done this activity with my kids a few times now and it never fails to fascinate them - and me! Simply color bubble mix with food coloring and blow bubbles onto paper - as the bubbles land and pop, they create beautiful works of art. It goes without saying that this project is best done outdoors. A great one for those lazy summer afternoons.
These big, meaty roasted turkey legs are reminiscent of the ones you'd munch on at your local state fair! They're juicy and wonderful—and very, very spicy!

Hello everyone, I have something really fun to share with you today. This is my first time making a 3D object using SVG cuts, and I am real excited about it. I think I found a new love, to create these things. We manage and live on an RV storage lot, so I thought this would be cute to make and display here at home. Isn't it just the cutest thing? I love all the details. The original file was created to have it sit on top of a box, but I just wanted the trailer. The file is called Camp Firefly, you should really go check out all the awesome cut files they have. I wish I would have put some vellum on the inside of the windows, maybe next time. The lights are brads that I colored with my Copic markers because I did not have any red ones. For the Flamingo's legs I used a black twistie tie. One last picture of the front window. Thank you for stopping by, I hope you enjoy my little Travel Trailer.
