We purchased our cabin in late summer of 2017. It has always been a dream of ours to own a cabin, and we feel so fortunate and happy that we were able to make it happen for us. We were lucky to find what we affectionatley call the West Wisco Country Club. It had been a rental for many years, and hadn’t seen real TLC in a long time – let’s just say there was 40 year old wall-to-wall shag carpet, wood paneling galore, and a bad smell. Most recently I have been working on remodeling the main floor bathroom. The cabin has been featured in Better Homes & Gardens and Do It Yourself Magazine.” Cabin Posts view all

I like the grey-green color that the board and batten is stained now, but it has already faded in the two summers we have been here. It needed to be freshened up, and for us it was the perfect opportunity to take it to a darker place.
