We are Pleased to offer this fine Medal Medal of the Lieutenant-Governor of Quebec, Sir eugène Fiset, dated 1940. 72mm, 170.1 grams. Silver-plated. Front side: Bust, left profile. There is this inscription around the bust: “LIEUTENANT-GOVERNOR OF THE PROVINCE OF QUEBEC” Under the bust and a little to the left, we find this inscription: “MAJ.-GÉN. HON. SIR EUGENE FISET K.T.C.M.G.D.D.S.O.MD”. Behind the head, vertically, we find the date 1940. Signed under the bust, we find the name of Sylvia Daoust. Tails: a coat of arms. On the ribbon that extends below, we find the inscription "I served". The medal has a matte, somewhat tarnished finish.
