Brulatour Courtyard Signed Art Print 11 x 14 Listed is the "Brulatour Courtyard" art print, which is a reproduction of a new original acrylic painting which was painted and sold in July 2014! The original painting is no longer available; however, the image of this art is available in limited edition prints. Inspiration comes from one of the most famous architectural structures in the heart of the French Quarter in New Orleans. It is probably the most painted courtyard of New Orleans. Kristi studied art at the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts (NOAFA), and is also self-taught. She has created mosaics and sold her unique tropical jewelry at the Red River Revel for four years. Presently, she has turned to painting, and has sold work both locally and nationally. She has exhibited at shows and galleries, including several group shows in northwest Caddo Parish, including Centenary College's Meadows Museum of Art and Centenary's Magale Library, Artspace, and the Bailey Gallery in downtown Shreveport. In December 2011, Kristi was awarded a visual arts grant from the Shreveport Regional Arts Council (SRAC), and became a Juried Roster Artist in 2012. Old New Orleans, Brulatour Patio. This metal fruitcake tin has a beautiful watercolor scene of Brulatour Patio, a well known landmark. This was created for Patio Sliced Fruitcake and has it's original label with the ingredients and the information that this was baked by Carver Foods Company. There is also an original price tag, this was from Robinsons. The size is 9-3/4 inches in diameter (across the lid) and 1-1/6 inches tall (with lid). This is in good condition with no dents. Vintage watercolour of the historic Brulatour Court in New Orleans by listed artist N. Luckow. Reported to be the most photographed and painted area of the French Quarter. Some history: Brulatour Courtyard at 520-522 Royal Street - located in the French Quarter; one of the most famous courtyards in the city. This was the location of the Arts and Crafts Club and its New Orleans School of Art from 1921 to 1932. Size: Framed size: 15 1/2" x 13 1/2" x 3/4". I would guess the painting to be 9" x 11" - Visible portion of matted painting: about 10 1/4" x 8 1/4." Professionally framed in Fort Myers, FL. Purchased in Naples, FL. Overall good condition with minor signs of wear to frame, consistent with age. Tiny chip in glass at uppermost top left (so tiny it was hard to photograph, but I wanted to disclose). 3" Glass Dome Paperweight BRULATOUR COURTYARD NEW ORLEANS, LA This listing is for a vintage glass dome paperweight showing the historic Brulatour Courtyard in New Orleans, with a banner caption for "Brulatour Courtyard | New Orleans, LA." This paperweight has a nicely colored image that I believe dates to the 1950s. The paperweight measures 3 inches wide across the base and is about 1-5/8th inches thick. It is in very good condition, with no chips, cracks, or heavy scuffs or wear. The glass is clear (no bubbles). (White spots in the photos are flash from the windows or the camera.) The backside is covered in somewhat loose very worn green felt.
