Happy Saturday My Blogger Friends! Today I'm going to share the SUPER FUN Halloween Treats that I made for my two daughters to take into their fellow co-workers for Halloween. My daughters work with some amazing PEEPS and like it when I include treats for their peeps along with the holiday treats to the grandkids. Here is what I made for my daughters............ I made these fun mummy treats! They come together SUPER FAST with the help of a fun (now retired) Stampin' UP! punch. This punch was retired last year.....but it happens to currently be in the Stampin' UP! clearance rack and can be picked up for around $7.00. (http://KadieLabadie.StampinUp.net) To create these fun little mummies.....You just need to punch out two of the above punched images with Whisper White cardstock. I then assembled the bottom and sides together......Leaving the top open. Next I distressed the edges of the mummy holder and also of the 1/8" stripes of Whisper White cardstock (that I used to wrap several layers across the front panel to look like mummy wrapping). Here's a close-up of what the bottom of the mummy looks like! The mummy holds a Hershey nugget........ That I wrapped with a piece of Whisper White cardstock. The only other thing that needed to be done was to add a pair of goggly eyes to my mummy and he was DONE! So here's what the batch of mummies for my daughters looks like. SO STINKIN CUTE and SO STINKIN FUN to make! Thanks for joining me today! I'll be back tomorrow to share with you the Halloween Treats that I made for my five California grandkids. Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share. Keep Living Your Dream!
Today I have a little video tutorial to showcase how I made these cute little treat boxes! These boxes were my swaps for the recent Alaska Cruise with Stampin'Up... I filled them up with chocolate hearts wrapped in silver foil, and they looked super cute! I hope the girls that received them loved them! I first got the idea for these when I received the botanical tags framelits... straightaway I wondered whether they would fit the clear tiny treat boxes. And yes they do... they are designed to be toppers for 2" wide tags, but the boxes also have 2" walls, so they fit them perfectly too. When I started working on these I had a friend help me, and we had a production line going: Then I took them with me overseas, but not assembled, so that I could put them together on the boat: My hubby and I put them together in our cabin on the first afternoon on board. Here I am delivering them to Stampin'Up to hand out to 25 of the other demonstrators... our meeting place was called "Stampers Base Camp" and we had a lot of fun catching up with other demonstrators there. But the best bit about these little boxes is that they are easy to make so that you can make them too! There is no stamping or special technique involved, you just need the Botanical Tags dies and your Big Shot die cutting machine, as well as the Clear Tiny Treat boxes and some cardstock in the colour of your choice. I hope you enjoy them! Here is the video:

It's Sunday Share and that means I have a couple of PDF Files to share with you. Today I chose 2 different Halloween treat holders that you could use for your upcoming Halloween parties.
Wrapped in Plaid 6" x 6" patterned paper is gorgeous tartan and gold lined and makes lovely 3D projects as is really sturdy. These pyramid treat boxes are just folded, no glue, no cutting just one sheet of 6" x 6" dsp. They are fairly easy to make and once you have had a few goes they will become easier. I suggest the first one you make with some copy paper or scrap paper and then when you have the folds perfected then make them in any patterned paper you choose. I love these for Christmas and would have them scattered around the bottom of the tree or in a basket filled with little gifts or sweet treats to give out at Christmas. They would also work as party favours or wedding favours . The shape is what makes these little boxes so cute. Here is the step by step video tutorial which will show you how to make these pyramid treat boxes. * Video Goes live Tuesday 17th September at 7 am MY NEW SHOP FRONT IS NOW LIVE - CHECK IT OUT HERE

Hello there! I finally got some time to come up with some fun Fall Acetate Treat Boxes. I made 6 designs for Halloween last year, and I've had several requests for Fall & Christmas designs:) I'll have to wait on Christmas, but I hope you like these Fall designs:) These are the Halloween boxes from last year. You can find all the details on the September 4, 2018 post. I made a video for this cute little scarecrow on my Facebook SU!P FRIENDS! group. Click on the link to the right to check it out! I started with an Acetate Card Box and keeping it flat, I cut it in half at 4". I used the old retired guillotine cutter that SU! used to carry. If you don't have a heavy-duty cutter, you could just cut a box in half with scissors. I added strips of Crumb Cake Cardstock around the edges measuring 11"x 3/4" and adhered them to the acetate with Glue Dots. For the hat I started with a piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock measuring 4" x 1 1/2". I measured in 1/2" at the top on both sides, and trimmed to get the angled shape. I added strips of Tear & Tape along the edges and added pieces of Burlap Ribbon. I trimmed off the excess , and added short pieces along the bottom. I used scissors to cut the ribbon in a jagged design. I used Soft Suede Cardstock for the turkey and the Come To Gather Suite for the sentiment and feathers. I used the Leaf Punch for his gobble-thing, and the Tailored Tag & Large Daisly Punches for his hat. For the Indian I used Blushing Bride Cardstock and Dinoroar DSP. I used the Layering Circles for the hair in Basic Black, and smaller circles for the eyes. I used the 1/2" Circle Punch for the pupils. For the feathers I used the Gathered Leaves Dies with Mango Melody and Old Olive Cardstock. For the Pilgrim I used Basic Black and Petal Pink Cardstock. I used the Christmas Bulb Punch for the nose and Gold Glimmer Paper for the buckle. I used the Clear Envelopes to hold the candy corn & peanuts. I just trimmed off the adhesive strip at the top and tied it shut with a bow. I hope you enjoy the new line-up in addition to the Halloween treat boxes. Stay tuned for some Christmas characters...but not for awhile:) Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hey crafty friends, It's Melinda here with you and today I am sharing this super cute KCup - Treat Holder. I created this pretty holder with some beautiful Rinea Foiled paper and some fun stamps from Joy Clair. Here's a look at my project. I thought this was the perfect project to create with the Joy Clair Coffee Lovers stamp set. I started by creating my file. Once that was done, I cut it out of some plain pink cardstock to give it a little sturdiness. Here's a side view of the container. You see that it fits two KCups perfectly. You can see here I also added some of the cute stamped images to the sides. Here's a view of all the various stamp images. I stamped them and then colored them in with my Copic markers. I then fussy cut them out and layered them. Here's a closer look at the cute little sentiment. I layered it onto a circle of the blush Starstruck foiled paper and then added all of that to a scallop circle. I used a little twine to tie it to my handle. Here's a closer look at the little flap that gives it a closure. I used a brad I had in my stash and cut out a circle from the Blush Starstruck foiled paper and adhered all that to the tab to give it the look like a closure. Here is one last look at my completed project.I think it turned out super cute and love that it comes together really easy and is the perfect little gift to give someone! Rinea Supplies Used Blush Starstruck Foiled Paper This paper is also a part of the Princess Variety Pack which includes both the glossy and starstruck versions of this paper.
