☀ Are you looking for Boom Cards to teach middle and high school students to improve conversation skills? Are your students less than excited about most social skills activities? These interactive cards help students identify problems in conversations and are perfect for in person instruction or teletherapy. ► These cards are no print, interactive, digital task cards. Your students will love them! In this set, you will receive a deck of 50 cards. The initial cards teach students various rules of conversation, including staying on topic, not interrupting, using comments and questions to maintain a conversation, being respectful and more! Then, there are cards where various conversation scenarios are portrayed using real photographs of older students and speech bubbles. 1. Students read the scenario and then are asked to identify the problem or problems (there are one or two problems in each scenario) in the conversation from four choices. When the student chooses an answer, they receive immediate feedback (visual and auditory) on their response. 2. Then, students "fix" the scenarios by writing a better response into a text box! This product has forward and backward arrows for easy navigation throughout the deck! BOOM learning cards are a web-based, interactive platform that is self-checking with sound! Students can click on the microphone icon to hear directions and questions. This is great for when you assign them as homework or for your struggling readers. ►When you download this product, you will receive a PDF with a link to the bundle of digital task cards on the Boom Learning Site. Click on the link. It will take you to the Boom learning site. Press redeem. →More information on Boom Cards: To use Boom Cards, you must be connected to the Internet. This Boom Card℠ deck is great practice for students who may be choosing or buying presents for birthdays, special occasions, or holidays (like Christmas or Hanukkah). In this deck, in-person, virtual (distance) or hybrid students will read a short description of some things that a person likes, dislikes, or needs. They will then look at three real pictures and choose the most appropriate gift for that person. This deck asks students to make inferences and to make choices that will make another person happy with the gift they receive. This important social skill helps students to determine the wants and needs of other people. Some of the descriptions include: Malcolm does not like candy at all. He likes to snack on salty, crunchy things instead of sweet cakes and candy. Marta dances and sings all the time! She even won the talent show for her singing last year. Vera likes to experiment with bright colors and dress up in different costumes. She always looks different than other people and says being normal is boring. My dad loves to eat popcorn while he watches TV. He isn't allowed to have chocolate though because he is allergic. See a preview of this deck here!
