Ya estamos en pleno verano, los días pasan rápido ¿Cómo lleváis el reto #elveranodemivida? Nosotros vamos tachando puntos de la lista poquito a poco. Hoy os voy a hablar de una actividad que bien podría haber estado en la lista. BRICOLAJE CON NIÑOS No es que en casa seamos precisamente unos manitas, más bien todo lo contrario. De hecho por triste que parezca cuando tenemos que poner una baldita, un cuadro… tenemos que recurrir al abuelo. (Que es un auténtico Mc Guiver) Rayito va por el mismo camino que el abuelo. Llevaba ya unas semanas mostrando interés por todo lo que sea desmontar, montar, trabajar con herramientas... Varios días me lo he encontrado con tubos de crema intentando desatornillar la puerta de la lavadora moviendo el tubo de crema en las visagras. (Este niño estaba pidiendo a gritos un destornillador...) Pensando qué ofrecerle para satisfacer este interés coincidió que teníamos en la recamara un regalo del abuelo que aún no habíamos usado porque pensaba que era demasiado pequeño para ello. Juego Simbólico Se trata de un maletín de Bosch con herramientas y un coche que puede montar y desmontar cuando le apetezca. Efectivamente es demasiado pequeño para montarlo. Pero no tanto para desmontarlo. Con su destornillador quita los tornillos de juguete, les da vueltas. Quita ruedas, pone… Cuando utilizamos juegos simbólicos sacamos nuestras tarjetas de las profesiones para que las pueda relacionar Por otro lado, ya os comenté en este post lo enamorada que me tenía este banco de trabajo (y otros juguetes simbólicos maravillosos). Lo tenemos en nuestras wish list de juguetes Imaginarium Como en casa siempre estamos investigando y modificando cosas, no nos faltan las tareas de bricolaje, (vamos, que el abuelo está entretenido). El peque encantado claro. El fin de semana hemos montado una estación de materiales exterior en la terraza. La colocamos al lado de la pizarra, para poder colocar tizas de colores, (que siempre estaban desperdigadas). Tiene piedras para jugar, palitos, piñas, cochecitos… Todo ordenadito. Y es que, si nos pueden ayudar a hacer proyectos, que ellos mismos vayan a usar, mejor que mejor. Ayudar en estas tareas le hace sentirse útil, le motiva, le ayuda con su autoestima… Así que, aunque vayamos un poco más despacio merece la pena dejar que colaboren. Cuando nos ayuden con las chapucillas caseras lo suyo es facilitarles herramientas reales, hay destornilladores cortos y más pequeñitos ideales para los niños. En las fotos podéis ver los que usamos nosotros. En la cesta hay herramientas reales que puede relacionar con las miniaturas o utilizar para ayudar El peque metía los tacos en los agujeros, manejaba el destornillador eléctrico, sujetada los soportes a su abuelo… Investigaba todo los tornillos, tuercas… (¿Qué mejor cesta sensorial?) Para familiarizarnos con toda la cantidad de herramientas que hay, nos hemos hecho con un tubo genial de safari ltd. Tiene destornillador plano, de estrella, martillo, taladro, un gato carpintero, alicate, llave inglesa… ¡Imaginate!, está encantado con su pequeño kit de manitas (la verdad es que las herramientas tienen un tamaño bastante grande, para ser miniaturas). La idea era que aprendiese a diferenciarlas, pero, como ves, los tacos los clava con su pequeño martillito, él tiene sus propias iniciativas así que, quien soy yo para decirle que no… Por otro lado, para practicar su destreza y mejorar su coordinación y su motricidad fina tenemos en nuestra wish list este otro kit, que me parece ideal para aprovechar este periodo sensible del peque (se puede hacer de forma casera, pero si no quieres complicarte está a la venta en la web montessoriparatodos.es) Fuente Montessoriparatodos.es BENEFICIOS DEL BRICOLAJE EN LOS NIÑOS 1-Ayuda a establecer razonamientos 2-Mejora su motricidad fina 3-Permite entrenar la fuerza en las manos 4-Es un hobbie genial para crear vínculo 5-Requiere concentración 6-Mejora su autoestima 7-Enseña a usar la lógica al niño 8-Indirectamente desarrolla la creatividad, porque requiere de soluciones (¿como colocar esto para que quede recto?) 9-Es una alternativa a la televisión 10-El niño aprende el valor de las cosas hechas en casa 11-Es una actividad que puede servir para relajarles Por último apuntar que el bricolaje no es cosa sólo de niños . El bricolaje es tan apropiado para niños como para niñas, los niños no tienen problemas ni prejuicios, más bien los tenemos nosotros. ¿Acaso una niña no puede jugar con coches y destornilladores o un niño con muñecas? ¿Te ayuda tu peque con las chapucillas de casa? ¿Qué proyectos habéis hecho?
