"Top 10 Tips to Get a Toddler into a Coat" cartoon A4 colour Giclée print by cartoonist and children's book illustrator, Rob Overend. Mounted on 12" by 16" board with mount back board and protected by transparent, clear bag. I have two young daughters. Getting them out of the house with their coats on could take an eternity even if I used every trick in the book - here are ten of them. I hope this truism resonates with you and tickles you enough to consider buying a print. Mr O – who is this guy? I’m 48, live with my family in Oxford and have been drawing cartoons for over 30 years. I used to self-publish a cartoon blog for years and design greeting cards. My mother-in-law writes a quirky adventure series of children’s books called Horace Burp, published by Circaidy Gregory Press, and I now illustrate them, among other things. I love creativity and enjoy teaching children cartooning and song-writing, as well as French, English and Sport. At the school where I teach, I produced a comic for charity, drawn entirely by children, for over 10 years. One of them was once presented in person to the Dalai Lama, which was a great moment for me. The comic is now run and produced entirely by the children themselves. The children call me Mr O at school so I use it as a moniker for my cartoons. How I work: I normally sketch out the idea in pencil then scan in and work up into a digital file within Clip Studio Paint: a great, affordable drawing package for cartoonists. I use an iMac and a Wacom Cintiq 13HD professional drawing tablet. Will my print look good and be good quality? Oh yes. The digital process of Giclée printing uses archival quality inks onto a high-quality substrate and provides the highest levels of colour accuracy and greater longevity than any other means of reproduction. This process is widely used in museums and art galleries where quality of reproduction is paramount. The printer I use has highly skilled operators who spend additional time testing and proofing materials to ensure the highest degree of satisfaction. It will be packaged appropriately and arrive in good condition. Please let me know if there is ever an issue.
