This BMW K1100 Scrambler represents a direction that BMW would likely never have considered taking with their large capacity 4-cylinder, but luckily Thomas Jeukens
Muscular, with a little 80s style; that was the brief given to Spain's 72 HKG Performance by the owners of this custom BMW K75. The bike originally belonged to their father, but it had been relegated to the garage for the last few years. It needed resurrecting, so they figured they might as well have it customized at the same time... and 72 HKG was all too happy to oblige. 72 HKG Performance is an ongoing collaboration between established Spanish custom builders Antonio (72 Cycles Performance) and Jorge (Hell’s Kitchen Garage). And in the year or so that they've been

The BMW K100 was the German answer to the surge in popularity surrounding inline-4 motorcycles pouring out of Japan in the '70s and '80s. They

An '87 Flying Brick dragged "kicking and screaming" into 2019...The BMW K100, introduced in 1982, benefited from the company's many years of experience building liquid-cooled, overhead cam, inline automobile engines. The fuel-injected, 95-hp engine was positioned on its side in the frame, so th

It's no longer uncommon to see old K-series BMWs go under the knife. But that doesn't mean that every custom K is a home run. It remains a tricky bike to customize—and it takes a keen eye to get it right. There's no doubt that Chris Scholtka, better known as Motocrew, has cracked the code. Based in Cottbus in northeastern Germany, Chris is a firefighter that creates custom motorcycles in his spare time. His vibe is minimalist and modern, with an emphasis on aggressive lines. The visual trickery that Chris has employed on this 1985 BMW K75 is inspired—but this
