Hello everyone, As I said a couple of days ago, I love the variety that can be achieved with the Blossoms In Bloom Bundle (#p154123). I have only used the dies on this card from this bundle but it looks so effective in gold & black, and even better in real life. I dry embossed a piece of Very Vanilla card (#106550) with the beautiful Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder (#152702) and attached this to the Very Vanilla base card. I used the Many Layered Dies (#152684) to cut the Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) and the Basic Black card (#121688). I had adhered the Adhesive Sheets (#152334) to the back of both these papers before cutting. The black card was attached to the gold foil, then this was attached to the card front. “Thinking Of You” is from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set (#c149298) and stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129), then set with the Heat Tool (#129056). A die from the Tasteful Labels Dies (#152886) cut the sentiment and this was attached to the Basic Black circle which was cut with a Layering Circles Die (#151770) and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). Hello my crafty friends and welcome to my blog. Today I am using the Designer Series Paper, Bloom Where You're Planted which is part of the Bloom Where You're Planted Suite of products. I have made cards before just by using Designer Series Paper. This is primarily using dsp but I added the stamped sentiment which is from the Sentimental Rose Kit. I also couldn't resist using the leaf die (again) from Artistic Dies. If you don't mind a little fussy cutting, this is a simple card with only 2 layers. As you can see, I have raised the flower pot to give the card some depth using a dimensional and tied some white twine around it. The foliage piece I also cut from a different sheet from the pack of DSP and adhered it just underneath the top of the pot using some liquid glue which I placed a small amount at the bottom, where the stems are. That way, the foliage is free to move and I think it looks more realistic. Originally, my card stopped there but you know how obsessed I am with THAT die and I still had some left over from a previous project so I added some to this. The gold foil against the green is just divine. I hope you like today's project. If you have any questions, let me know.
