Most children have things they are proud of and want to show off to the world around them. When your child outgrows dolls, you can use this doll house as a wall shelf to display all those important things.
Here are a couple of overstuffed armchairs in the making. I used two inch thick foam, but cut off about a half inch, so the chairs will stand 1 1/2 inches. Cut the foam to give a nice seat for your doll, and to accomodate the arms, which are cotton batting cut the depth of the chair and rolled up to give a nice plump arm. The back of the chair is cardboard; two pieces for each back. One is padded, the other not (like the bed headboard). Here I've pinned the pieces together to make sure the size is right.
