Aurélie nous a proposé ce super modèle de carte à secouer avec 3 pages 🤩 L'occasion pour moi à ce moment là de tester mes super oiseaux du set Bird's eye view 😎 n'est-ce pas qu'ils sont trop?!? Hello and welcome to a new project share - my design team project for Just Add Ink challenge 676, which is a photo inspiration challenge. With Halloween and Thanksgiving in North America around the corner, the pumpkin in the challenge image is a popular theme. I'm not that fond of pumpkins (except for in pumpkin scones) or orange in general so what to make? A sweet little birdie from the Bird's Eye View stamp set with pumpkin like dimensions and colours was the fun answer for me. The neutral colours and patterns in the image gave me the rest of my palette. Here's how my card turned out. Tweet? I'm getting used to using unexpected colours and it was fun creating my little birdie. I stamped the images in Basic Grey Ink, then coloured with Stampin' Blends markers in Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze (2 colours I rarely use but like here), Old Olive, and Granny Apple Green. The stack of books is a nod to the intricate flat tray (?) under the pumpkin, coloured with combinations of Ivory, and Light & Dark Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends. A Deckled rectangle and the checks and greys reflected the colours, patterns and softness of the image - Gray Granite - a warm grey I often forget about. The paper is a retired neutral stack (bring back the gingham I say!) which I embossed with the retired Subtle folder. Oh how I wish for some new simple folders like this one. Inside are many elements from the front plus another sweet birdie friend. So what do you think? Did I meet the challenge brief. I hope my card has given you some ideas to try. Not much time for chitchat this morning but I have another adorable (if I do say so myself!) card with the Bird's Eye View stamp set. I was inspired by the Tic Tac Toe Challenge and I used the left to right diagonal of Green and Blue, CAS and Critter. A bird is a critter right?? I started with a Blueberry Bushel card base then a layer of Basic White on which I used a blending brush and a square stencil to create the sky block with Balmy Blue ink. I stamped the bird in Memento Black, the branch in Pecan Pie and the leaves in Granny Apple Green. I used Blends to color everything in and then fussy cut and added everything to the scene. Some of the leaves and the bird are popped up with dimensionals. Since it's a CAS card with no embellishments the final details is the thanks in Memento Black. All the products used to make this card can be purchased in my ONLINE STORE. Thanks for looking! Did you stamp today? Stamps: Bird's Eye View, Timeless Arrangements Ink: Memento Black, Pecan Pie, Granny Apple Green, Balmy Blue Blends: Blueberry Bushel light, Tahitian Tide light & dark, Parakeet Party light & dark, Granny Apple Green light, Pecan Pie light Paper: Blueberry Bushel, Basic White Accessories: dimensionals

My card today was a challenge for sure as I didn't really have many supplies that fit within the parameters! Addicted to CAS is having us work with "shapes" this time. And being that it has to stay clean and simple (CAS) makes it even more of a challenge! I didn't have any stamp sets with a shape to even get me to a starting point. After thinking on it for a bit while I was tidying up the stamp room it came to me! I dug around in my files and found a circle stencil I had made for another project and used that to lightly blend my colors onto a piece of Basic White cardstock. I used Daffodil Delight, Parakeet Party and Balmy Blue. Next I embossed in black 3 of the birds from the Bird's Eye View stamp set. The raised detail is a nice touch when you are making a CAS card but don't want it to be too flat. After the embossing I darkened the wings on each bird with the match Stampin' Blends marker. I added the very brief and simple "hi" from the Just My Type stamp set and then rounded the corners and adhered the panel to a Basic White thick card base. I didn't make this one a one layer card since the Blends markers would bleed through a bit and I didn't want that to be seen on the inside of the card if it was one layer. All of the current products used to make this card can be purchased in my ONLINE STORE. Thanks for looking! Did you stamp today? Stamps: Bird's Eye View, Just My Type Ink: Versamark, Daffodil Delight, Parakeet Party, Balmy Blue Blends: Daffodil Delight light, Parakeet Party light, Balmy Blue light Paper: Basic White, Basic White thick Accessories: circle stencil made with circle dies and acetate, black embossing powder, corner rounder (retired)

I shared this beautiful NEW Stampin' Up! Frames & Flowers Speciality Designer Series Paper and I have paired it with the Bird's Eye View Stamp Set in a recent video. I had the branch Nested Essential Dies piece in my Use It Up Box and knew out would be perfect with this design. I stamped and coloured using Stampin' Blends the bird to match the colours in the Designer Series Paper. I grabbed another piece from my Use it Box using the Stylish Shape Dies for behind the Bird that I ink blended with matching ink. I finished the card with a few Petal Pink Foiled Gems. Learn how to make celebration cards for any occasion. Perfect for graduations, baby showers, retirement and other occasions. All of the cards made in this project were designed with the Stampin' Up! stamp set Bird's Eye View and colored using Stampin' Blends. These are alcohol markers that make coloring so easy and you get great results without being an artist! The main reason I love Stampin' Blends is that you don't get coloring streaks - they just blend together so nicely.
