As promised, here is the tutorial for making the rosebud using the Two Step Bird Punch from the latest mini catalogue: Step 1 - Cut a strip of green cardstock (old Olive used here) about 3 cm (1 1/4") wide, this will save your cardstock and make rotating the 'hole' possible. Step 2 - Insert the strip of cardstock from the right hand side of the punch and punch as shown above - you need the hole the end of the tail leaves. Step 3 - Turn the cardstock over and insert fron the left hand side of the punch with the 'tail hole' in the window for the wing as shown above. Step 4 - Punch a wing only from red cardstock (Real Red used here) and adhere the green wing with the hole in it over the red wing to form the calex of the rose. Step 5 - Punch a leaf from the green strip and adhere just the top leaf over the rose as shown above - et voila, you have a rosebud. To see the rosebud used on a card go to this post. To make the Bird of Paradise punch art, all you will need is the Two-Step Bird punch. Punch 2 pieces of Pacific Point card stock as seen in the above picture. Next, punch out 2 Pumpkin Pie and 1 Old Olive birds. Cut these pieces on the lines in the picture above. Sorry, the lines did not come out too good. Here are the pieces that you will need to make one flower. I used the sponge dauber and various inks to shade the edges of each piece. The following pictures will show you how to assemble the flower: Trim the excess off from the lower edge of the flower. Here is a picture of the finished product... a Bird of Paradise flower!

One of my favorite punches is the Owl Builder. It's such a versatile punch that can be used for many things. Check out this photo of samples that I got from Pinterest - all were created using the Owl Builder punch. I've even seen it used to create minions, goblins & witches, snowman, Winnie the Pooh and Piglet. The possibilities are endless. The card I am sharing is a Congratulations card which is timely because of graduation. I used all retiring In Colors ink pads and card stocks. I CASED this card from a swap I received from a fellow demo, Kathy Maurer. Except hers was a Fancy Fold style card. This card would be awesome to convert into a Gift Card holder, too. I love it as I am a huge Peanuts fan!! SO when I came across this on the web I just had to give this a go. So this is my version of a snoopy punch art card. I used Stampin Up modern label, bird, word window, large heart & small oval punches to create this card. The heart are the body, the bird wing for the ear (trim using the small oval punch to take off the wing point) & back spot plus a little leaf for the tail, word window for the nose, small oval for the hind leg & modern label for the arm. I also used some Carla punches for the clouds & grass. I am so please by the way this came together!! So cute!! Here is a cute version of a Unicorn punch art card!! I used Stampin Up punches as follows: Owl Builder, Fox Builder, Tree Builder for the horn, Bow Builder for the legs, Blossom Petal Builder & Festive Flower for the ears. Also used Stampin Up Decorative Label punch with Marry Me set for the words to go in. The words are from a magazine from awhile ago! This is so sweet! Here is my go at making a Pie punch art card! Wow!! I am really pleased on how this came together! I have used Stampin Up tree builder & circle punch to create this card! Note with the oval punch, you need to punch a small oval first then go over the top with the large oval, line it up so it is roughly even & then cut the curved tops off at both ends!! The stamp I used is Stampin Up Perfect Words set. Here is my go at a Campfire Punch Art Card! I am really pleased how this came together! I used Stampin Up punches to create this card. Hello Kitty punch art card. I came across this on the web & had to make it as it was needed for a girl's birthday which my son got invited too. So here my go at it! Also used the birthday stamp from the same set on the inside of the card!! Love it!! Here is my version of a Unicorn punch art card!! I thought this was great!! Here I used Stampin Up punches as follows: Owl Builder, Blossom Petal Builder, Butterfly large & small, Fox Builder, Tree Builder, Bow Builder & Oval large. Also used Stampin Up Decorative Label punch & words from a magazine from awhile ago to create this card. Plus a Carla Craft Punch for the grass. This was interesting to make! Here is my go at a Fox punch art card which I found on the internet! I have been wanting to try this one for awhile & here it is!! I followed the fox "how too" to make the fox & used Fiskas cp1 punch for the grass. Plus Stampin Up washi label punch & Perfect Words set to create this card. I came across this Lego punch art card which I liked so here is my go at a Lego punch art card! I found the arms were the hardest things to match as I did not have Stampin Up Heart to heart punch for them so I thought the tag punch was close as the angle of the arms were quite tricky to get right! This was made for a boy who really likes Lego!! Here is my go at a Elmo punch art card & really liked the layout on this card! This was done by using Stampin Up circle punches. I have seen him done many ways however this was a winner to me, as my niece just loved it! This is my goat a Minecraft Creeper punch art card which was a little odd!! I used Stampin Up 1" square punch for the eyes. I hand drew the nose mouth bit as that was not that tricky & add words from Stampin Up Happiest Birthday Wishes set. Here is my go at making the Gruffalo Punch Art Card. I really happy how this came together! I used Stampin Up punches to create this card. This is my version of a tiger punch art card. Also used Carla grass & flower punches. This came together well! I am really excited about how this one came together, so this is my version of a Seahorse punch art card! I have used Stampin Up word window, trio flower, owl for the eyes, 1 1/4" circle & a small oval for the belly which you need to trim once you have stuck it to the body! For the words I used Stampin Up Short & Sweet set to create this card! This my version of a Jellyfish punch art card! Wow how cute!! I used Stampin Up 1 3/4" circle which you then feed it into the scallop oval punch to get the under part. Also I used Stampin Up stocking punch to do the legs, oh & the owl punch for the eyes! Plus a Fiskars shell, wave board for the sand & a unknown for the seaweed. For the words I used Stampin Up Perfect Words set! Oh I just had to have a go at this one when I saw it on the web. So here is my go at a fish punch art card. I used Stampin Up modern label, small oval & owl builder punch (for the eyes). For the fin at the back I used Stampin Up beautiful butterflies bigz on the Big shot. Also a little leaf punch from EK range. The stamp I used Stampin Up Word Play set & the decorative label punch however I made it a bit longer to fit the stamp in by trimming a long strip of card then feeding it under the punch so it only punch one side of the card (this can be a bit fiddly)!! Here are some Fish punch art card made with Stampin Up's bauble punch. Plus I used Stampin Up bird punch, the wing piece for the fins. I like the way it is simple & cute! Here is my version of a Starfish Punch Art Card! I am happy this the way this turned out! I used Stampin Up punches to create this card! Here I found on the web a kiwi bird, however I changed a few things on it to make this kiwi bird punch art card. So I used Stampin Up owl punch plus all these punches to create this cute Kiwi bird! Stampin Up circle 2 1/2", word window, blossom petal & the trio flower. Here is an Owl punch art card using circle punches I was playing around with & it turned out okay! The paper I used that I embossed is a tricky colour to work with, however I dulled it down using Stampin Up chocolate ink & made it a little better. I used the idea of the owl circle punch art card! I found this owl on the web & wanted to give it a go. So here it is my version of a Owl punch art card, using Stampin Up scallop punch. Plus all these punches to create this card: circle (1 3/4") & flower trio. Oh I also used a 3/4" circle punch as well for the space on the head of the owl which makes the ears for it! Here I have found a owl design on the web however I wanted to make it a bigger owl punch art card! So I used Stampin Up circle 2 1/2" punch for the body, an inch circle punch for the head space to make the ears & the big part for the eyes to sit on, plus to finish the eyes I used Stampin Up owl punch. Also Stampin Up scallop punch for the wings. The heart punch for a beak. I was so pleased by the way this came together I had to show my students how to make this one, which they loved too! This is my go at making a Totoro punch art card which my son just loved it! To make this card I had to free hand draw the body, then used Stampin Up owl punch, just the little heart off that which I cut in half to create the marks on the belly. Also used Stampin Up bird punch, just the leaf for the nose. This is my version of Fairy punch art card! I have used Stampin Up blossom petal punch plus word window 'cut in half for the legs', circles & heart punches to create this card! This took a little time to put together. Stampin Up blossom petal punch used for the face, the wings & for the dress. Also I have stamped the back ground using Stampin Up Baroque set embossed & distressing inks. Here is my version of a Gnome punch art card which had seen on the web & thought to give it a go. I found this quite tricky with the gluing of all the small pieces however turn out okay. I used Stampin Up blossom punch, plus other punches like a leaf & ovals. Here my go at a Pickle punch art card!! I thought it was very good!! It was made for a friend who enjoys eating them, lol!! So the pickle is template I made. Here is my go at a Ballet Punch Art Card. I used Stampin Up punches to create this card. This is my go at a simple Daisy Flower punch art card using Stampin Up bird punch & scallop punch is folded in half, to make this simple card. Also I used a embossing folder which then I highlighted with a marker around the edge. This is a Flower punch art card which I came across the internet & gave it a go. SO this is my version of it! Here I have used Stampin Up Bird Builder Punch, Baroque set & a label punch to create this card. Just a simple & effective Flower punch art card that I put together after finding something similar on the web. I used Stampin Up blossom petal punch & set. This is a Frangipani flower punch art card. This is made using about seven Stampin Up large heart punched pieces to create the flower & then over lapping each bump of the heart. Here a simple Tulip flower punch art card which was given to me to have a go at making a template for & it turned out okay! The base card for this one is a gate card fold & is placed on one side of the card. You could use Stampin Up owl punch to create this card! Here is a Teacup punch art card which I found on the web & thought I would give it a go. I used Stampin Up large oval, small oval and small petite flower punch to create this card. I used a another punch for the steam on the tea cup but I am not sure who makes the punch, however you could use any swirl type or bling to create this effect. Here I have created this Dog paw punch art card using some of Stampin Up circle punches to create this card. This is my version of Bird House punch art card which I came across this on the internet. So here I have used Stampin Up Bird Builder punch, Stampin Up Dotted Scallop Ribbon punch, a house template, a boarder punch & a few stamps which I not sure who made them, sorry! Here my go at a Spanner Punch Art card I used a few Stampin Up Trio Flower & a circle punch to create this card. Snoopy Punch Art Card. Here is my go at a Snoopy punch art card for xmas! Wow love the way this came together! I kept it simple by not embossing the back ground & want the Scandi look as well, by using the brown card to back it on. So I used Stampin Up punches and two Carla Craft punches to create this card. I also used Stampin Up Four the Holidays Set, word stamp. There is a "How To Assemble" page to show what & where it all goes!! Please note you need to draw the lines in for the house!! Here is my version of a Christmas Pelican punch art however with a xmas twist to it! I made this for a friend who loves pelicans so I created this card & she loved it!! This is a quick & easy card to do which is handy if you need to make a lot!! I just loved how this one came together! Here I used Stampin Up Four Seasons set, plus Stampin Up Bird Builder Punch to create this card. Please note that the birds are raised, instead of their wings just to give a little lift from the white background I used some grey ink around the edges so they popped out a little more! Here is another Pudding punch art card which looks nice. I used Stampin Up Scallop, owl builder, 1 3/4 circle, decorative label, trio flower & small oval punch. This is a small version of the Pudding punch art card & wow, they are so cute!! Here I used Stampin Up small scallop, owl builder, 1 inch circle, word window, modern label & trio flower punch to create this card! As an Illustrator I have fallen in love with the coloring pages. I also see this as a wonderful pattern for Punch Needle work. Which I am gaining a huge interest in. The pattern is simple enough and just like a coloring book, use your eye for the colors. The 2nd photo shows how you could use the pattern with only one bird.
