Hi everyone, Welcome to my blog today. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. It is time once again for the Stamp Around UK video hop and our theme for this month is Annual Catalogue Inspiration. I decided to grab the Biggest Wish stamp set and unusually for me, I used my Stamparatus! Using the Stamparatus hinge technique made it super simple to place each image correctly. And then after stamping in colour, I went back over each image with Versamark and embossed each one in clear embossing powder. You can see the shine a bit better on these photos. You can watch my video for the video hop by CLICKING HERE or on the image below. The 'Biggest Wish' stamp set is so great with all it's HUGE words.... you can create many different designs with them! Here's my latest.... a background of 'Happy' with a one word in the focal piece of 'Birthday'. Great for a masculine card... in my opinion! I did the background piece free hand...no stamp-a-ma-jig or Stamparatus used. I think I did pretty well lining everything up. Thanks for dropping in! During my live video last week I shared these cards featuring the Biggest Wish stamp set. I love the combo of the bold and script fonts! I also love that you can combine the words however you'd like!!! The Biggest Wish greetings are all added to cards I made with the Expressions in Ink
Hi Stampers! Stampin’ Up!®️ offers cardmakers so many wonderful images to create fantastic cards, but what would those cards be without great greetings? Of course, Stampin’ Up! has you covered there too! There are 16 stamp sets in the new annual catalog that include only greetings / sentiments! One of the greetings sets that caught my eye first thing was the BIGGEST WISH stamp set. The greetings are big, but not too big. Size-wise I would categorize them as medium. I like the fact each word is offered in print and script. Here is a look at the stamp set. BIGGEST WISH Here is a look at some cards I made using the BIGGEST WISH stamp set: HAPPY BIRTHDAY Here are two sample cards I made using the “happy” and “birthday” stamps: SUPPLIES FOR THIS CARD: * Daffodil Delight card base * Hand-Penned DSP 5” x 3 3/4” * Daffodil Delight cardstock 3 3/8” x 2 5/8” * Basic White cardstock 3 1/8” x 2 3/8” * Daffodil Delight ink * Adhesive of choice & dimensionals (The flower image next to “happy” is an image from HAND- PENNED PETALS. This simple card was made using lot of fun new products in the Stampin’ Up!® 2021/2022 Annual Catalog. Let’s start with the sentiment. It is from a new stamp set called Biggest Wish. …
Today I am making a card using the Biggest Wish stamp set. This stamp set features both a large, chunky font and a more delicate, script font.
Hello, The Stamparatus (#148187) is the perfect tool to stamp “Happy” & “Birthday” on this card. These stamps are from the Biggest Wish stamp set (#155052). I stamped “happy” with Starry Sky ink (#159212), Crushed Curry ink (#147087), Shaded Spruce (#147088) and Merry Merlot ink (#147112). I used Real Red ink for “birthday”. “Happy” was set up on the Stamparatus and I moved the plate one notch at a time for each of the words. This Basic White card (#159228) was matted with Real Red card (#106578). The Real Red Ribbon from the Real Red & Burlap Ribbon Combo Pack (#160386) was wrapped around the card front, then attached to the Basic White base card. The guitar from the Enjoy The Rhythm stamp set (#160361) was stamped with Real Red ink, and this was cut with a Stitched Rectangles Die (#151820). I then dry embossed this with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder (#156406). This was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). “Love what you do and share what you love.” INSPIRE. I started this card with four 1 x 3 strips of coordinating pattern paper. On top of those I added fun ribbon I found at Target Dollar Spot. A few miscellaneous floral stems and a birthday sentiment from the Biggest Wish stamp set by Stampin’ Up! completed my birthday card. It turned out so pretty with all the layers.
Today’s card was a bit of a journey. I started out trying to create just a quick Catalogue Inspiration card for the TGIF Challenge #TGIFC317 Instead, I ended up smudging some black ink on the…
Good mid-week morning, peeps! Time is flying by, isn't it? Can you believe we are almost out of July days? It was three years ago during Sale-A-Bration that the Designer Series Paper I chose for today's card was out and about. I was so sad when it retired. This is the stack, cut and shuffle card with a mat that I mentioned in my post yesterday. There are two main differences between the card yesterday and this one. This one has a mat AND I chose not to shuffle the stacks! Take a look see... and here's the template for it... My card base is Cajun Craze with a Very Vanilla mat. The sentiment is from Nature's Prints Stamp Set, punched with the Label Me Lovely Punch, sponged with Cajun Craze ink and adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals. I added a Brushed Brass Butterfly as my friend cannot get enough of butterflies! For the inside I used three sentiments from the Biggest Wish Stamp Set, stamped with Cajun Craze ink and added a 4" x 1/2" strip of DSP. The Butterfly Challenge is back and I'm thankful! I'm entering my card in Challenge #171. I am not doing the S is for Spanner Card, but I am using three of the colors she required...Sky Blue, Salmon, Sage. Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you'll be back tomorrow for our weekly Thursday Happy Inkin' Blog Hop.
