My Crochet Bible Stories Blanket / Playbook - designed by Joanita Theron A fun ‘quiet’ crochet Bible stories-inspired interactive playbook/play-mat or blanket. This pattern is available as a Free Crochet Along at the link provided. Difficulty Level | Skills Required - Easy to Intermediate Basic stitches in simple variations, simple repeats, color changes, shaping and finishing. You will need to know basic stitches like SC (single crochet) and DC (double crochet). Lots of smaller pieces are crochet first and then attached. Materials Hook – 3, 50 mm (E) & 4, 00 mm (G) Scissors Yarn needle Extras required given with each playbook page instructions. Yarn: Yarn – any DK (Acrylic or Cotton) is recommended. Weight – DK (11 wpi) 3: Light. For this project I used an assortment of colors – there are no preset color coordinates. Yarn Substitute: Using the same type of yarn throughout the project is recommended. The pattern suggests DK yarn, but you are not limited to this type of yarn. The pages can also be constructed using fusible webbing with minimal sewing. How long did it take you? Each pages takes about 5 hours to complete. Did you use any templates? Where can they be found?
