I usually print all of the worksheets and make a workbook for the kids, with a maze, seek & find, type page and a coloring picture (it's just for the picture, there's not time to do it) and these worksheets. I figure kids are dependent on their parents (or grandparents) to bring them, and so they can take this home when we are finished using it in class. As you can see, I taught all the Paul lessons together after teaching the early Acts lessons. And, I had to delete a couple that I wanted to teach because of the number of weeks that I have the students in my class. At some point, when I have more time, I will add those also. This is the workbook cover if you decide to make books. The Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost Ananias & Sapphira Stephen Philip & the Ethiopian Eunuch Peter Heals Aeneas Dorcas is Alive! Welcome to our book of Acts Bible Study. Over the next several months (if it's God's will) we will study through each chapter of the book. Today we discuss Acts 1 (verses 1-12). In this chapter, Jesus ascends to heaven and a new Apostle, Matthias is selected to replace Judas Iscariot.

Acts chapter 5 includes Ananias and Sapphira, the apostles were arrested, and an angel took them out of prison. They answered, "We ought to obey God not men" when asked why they disobeyed orders to stop preaching about Jesus. They preached daily about Jesus. Most of the worksheets have the teacher's answer sheets included. Most of the worksheets with scripture are paraphrased to fit the worksheet space. The Concept Charts are designed create discussions, look up and review main points in each chapter. They are intentionally kept plain so they can be used to each classroom's needs. The first is to discuss obeying God and the middle is about lying. The scriptures are the same as the last worksheet which is found in a previous application pack and is included here also. The first worksheet is a fill in the blank. Instead of numbering these 1, 2, 3, etc., they are numbered with the verse to read first, then fill in the blanks using the Word Bank. The second was designed for those asking for cut & glue. It is an easy scripture that was paraphrased to cut out the words and glue them in order. The students will also write out the verse. This was a suggestion from a teacher. These color-by-number worksheets and the mazes for Ananias and Sapphira are included. The first word search are words from chapter 5. The middle picture is verse 29-word search with certain words underlined and can be found in the puzzle. The last is a crossword puzzle. The first worksheet is a Words & Meanings. It is a vocabulary worksheet and has assorted words used in the text in the Word Bank, and students will write the correct word in the box that has the definition of each word. The second is like a Reader Worksheet but has pictures for the students to write the number under each to put them in order. The last is Who did it? There is a description for each person. The students will cut out the people and glue them to the correct description. The alphabet picture code and number code worksheets are Acts 5:29. We ought to obey God rather than men. Acts 5:29b These printables can be used for this lesson and any other appropriate lesson and were kept plain intentionally for this purpose. A key verse was chosen from the chapter to use for discussion, memory work, and copy work. Students can color or paint the designs on the poster, banner, door hanger and bookmark. Stickers can be added. String or ribbon can be added to the banner to hang and on the bookmark. Click here to download the lesson and application printables.
