For this craft you will need: cardstock paper, regular paper, crayons, cups (clear if possible), tissue paper (optional), scissors, plastic knives or Popsicle sticks, glue, and tape. Here is my Naaman craft: A side note about these crafts: I'm trying to work with what we already have on hand at the church, so. . .for instance, I couldn't find any popsicle sticks, so I taped all my little Naamans onto plastic knives ahead of time. Hopefully, the little kids not beat each other with them. . . Although the little creatures who "make" these crafts cannot read, I still think it's important to include key verses from the stories so that parents/caretakers can read them or look them up later. You never know, these crafts may get tossed into a corner to be found years later when the before toddler can now read. It may change his or her life. You never know. . .But God's Word never returns void, right? The verse around the cup is 2 Kings 5:14— "So Naaman went down to the Jordan River and dipped himself seven times, as the man of God had instructed him. And his skin became as healthy as the skin of a young child, and he was healed!" Here are my templates: I printed all my little Naamans onto cardstock (there are seven on each page), cut them out, and taped them to plastic knives (I did this ahead of time, because the kids in these classes are really young, but if you kids are older, they can do this part). Then, I printed the verses out on regular paper, cut those out and taped them to each cup. Then, I cut a slit into the bottom of each cup. To make my examples, I colored my Naamans, and then I glued different colored pieces of tissue paper to the inside of the cups (the Jordan River was dirty, right? That was Naaman's main complaint.). Then, all you have to do is stick your knife handle down through the slit of the cup. Dunk your Naaman seven times, and then flip him over to show him clean! The End!
