$100 is the deposit for this quilt. See sizes and prices below. Bereavement /Memory Quilt made with your loved one’s shirts or t-shirts. This can be a special way to preserve memories of a special person in your life. It can also be a thoughtful gift for someone who has lost a close family member. One of the quilts pictured commemorates a beloved grandfather who was an avid bowler, Atlanta Braves baseball fan and retired from the NASA space program. You pick the size of the quilt based on the number of shirts you want to use. Front and back designs of shirts can be incorporated- each will count as a square. Each shirt design is cut to 12-13” depending on the graphics. Quilts are pieced by hand and machine stitched and quilted for durability. Each shirt is lined with interfacing for extra stability. I use 100% cotton fabrics for sashing (the fabric strips on the front of the quilt that “frame” your shirts) and cotton batting to line the quilt. You can choose what colors you’d like to use for the sashing and backing or leave it up to me to decide what will look best with your shirts. After quilt is assembled, it is machine quilted with a diagonal pattern. Prices are as follows: 9 squares = $220 48” x 48” 12 squares = $298 48” x 60” 16 squares =$398 60”x 60” 20 squares = $498 60” x 75” 25 squares = $598 75” x 75” Finished size of the quilts are approximate based on 12-13” squares. If the graphics on the shirts are larger than the normal 12” to 13”, I can cut larger squares to accommodate. There will be an additional charge added to cover additional fabric needed. You will, however, get a larger size quilt as a result. I will contact you prior to cutting the squares if the graphics require it. Once I receive the deposit, I will send a message with my mailing address. You can then send your pre-washed, uncut shirts to me along with any fabric color preferences. If you have specific ideas regarding placement of the shirts in the quilt, please include those as well. Turn around time is currently 10 weeks from the time I receive your t- shirts. Holidays can take a little longer. When your quilt is complete, I will add a private listing with pictures of the quilt showing your remaining balance due. Once payment is received, your custom quilt will be mailed via USPS mail. You are responsible for the cost of mailing the shirts to me and I will cover the return shipping costs of the finished quilt. Die kleinsten Babys werden immer noch überdehnt geliebt und verdienen es, geehrt und in Erinnerung zu bleiben. Decken sind eine ungefähre Größe für das Baby in dieser Schwangerschaft angegeben. Babys gibt es in allen Größen und deshalb gibt es nicht das eine Decke eine Woche jünger oder älter hätte nicht auch den Kleinen eingewickelt.
