Back from a 3 weeks trip in Tanzania. I didn't do safari as 99% of the people that i met there! I traveled along the swahili coast, and in Zanzibar and Pemba islands. It was not very easy to takes pictures, and i had very different welcomes in villages, from hostile to friendly, with lot of variations around "money!". The country is really beautiful and there are many things to see, from german times to slavery trade, and muslim culture. On this picture, a very famous omani style door in front of Tipu house, i had the chance to go inside, more pictures to come. Those old houses, according to what i understood are managed by governement, and 3 or 4 families can live inside. The magnificent door hide a very poor condition for the people living there. © Eric Lafforgue www.ericlafforgue.com
