Bear stamp from our wild animal stamp collection. This small rubber stamp could be used on any even surface including paper, card-stock, fabric, terracotta, smooth leather, etc. You can use this stamp on salted dough and soft polymer clay, but we do not recommend it for stoneware clays. The SIZE of the imprint (inches given in BRACKETS!): 2.6 x 1.4 cm (1 1⁄32 x 35⁄64 inches) Q: Can you make it LARGER/SMALLER? A: Yes, we can (but we have limits). Please, contact us for details. When ordering a PERSONALIZED stamp, please, give us the name you want to see on the stamp in the personalization box (below “Add your personalization” line) or in the NOTE TO SELLER (you will see it after adding the listing to your cart). Before carving a stamp, we shall offer you a few font variants. After you approve the one you love the best, Eugen will carve your stamp. Turnaround period for this item is 1-2 business days. This carved stamp is sold: - not mounted (rubber part only); - mounted on a wooden block. The stamp is carved from a rubber block by hand. The color of rubber blocks we use differs from piece to piece. So are the wooden blocks – Eugen cuts and polishes each wood block by hand and they differ a lot. That’s why your hand carved stamp will be bit different from the image in this listing, but will always retain the quality of the imprint. CARE: Keep from direct sunlight and heat. Please, do not rub the surface of the stamp too hard in order not to damage your stamp. Do not use with oil paints and don't clean your stamp with oily substances - they may cause rubber damage! SHIPPING: The item will be shipped via registered air mail, tracking number provided. Estimated worldwide delivery time is about 10-15 days (for some countries it makes 7 days, for others - 21-30 days). Sometimes, shipping delays occur depending on weather, customs and postal issues. Please, order, keeping this information in mind. See our policies on approximate delivery terms for different countries here https://etsy.me/2Z1FItw Thank you. The 2nd stamp in my "STAMPS of the countries where my Flickr contacts reside." project/set. See others here: www.flickr.com/photos/rjhayphotography/sets/7215760709634... When I was much younger, this was one of my favourite Australian stamps. I have never been to Australia but outside of Australia this Australian symbol was often referred to as a "Koala Bear" because of its close resemblance to the children's "Teddy Bear" popular in North America. The original "Teddy Bear" was created as a stuffed animal toy around an incident involving U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt and a black bear. The Australian Koala is a marsupial and is not related to a Black Bear in any way but, much to the dismay of those interested in proper nomenclature, the term "Koala Bear" has stuck like glue to this image of a cuddly animal from Australia. The Koala diet consists of leaves of the Eucalyptus and although the Koala in the stamp looks to be wide awake, real Koalas sleep most of the time. According to information in Wikipedia, they have fingerprints just like humans do. I find that most fascinating. I did a quick search of my contact's photos and found that Macdonnelliensis has an interesting collection of Koala photos in his flora and fauna set of Victoria, Australia including this stamp like image with eyes closed: www.flickr.com/photos/centralaustralia/1803365418/in/set-... Pay his set a visit. Very interesting collection of photos of interesting bird and animal life in Australia. Follow my travels and photographic adventures at: www.MegapixelTravel.com
