About The Artwork This photograph is an overhead view observing a surfer wading across Wategos Beach, one of the many beaches around Byron Bay in New South Wales, Australia. The capture turned out quite minimalist, this may helped by the lack of a horizon and compression of perspective by the telephoto lens - it also have a hint of surveillance to it like Big Brother is watching. In the end I found it reminded me a little bit of a painting which made me stop and choose to work on it and create a limited edition series from it. A signed print from a limited edition of 25. Printed with a white border to accommodate framing/mounting and the signature - the actual size of the printed image is 113.9 x 80.1 cm.
