WELCOME! I’m so happy you are here. My name is Erin and I’m the blogger behind Elizabeth Joan Designs. I’m a 40 something-year-old wife and mom of three, who loves the beach, photography, all things that deal with design (interior, graphic, web), renovations, music, spicy food, and animals. Well, basically, I like everything, except feet (eww) and mean people. I love to learn and I love to try new things. On the blog, you will find lots of DIY, home decor, organizational ideas, and printables, along with snippets from my personal life and more! I love to share ideas and hopefully inspire others to create. I am not an expert, just a regular person like you. My approach is trial and error and I love the process of learning along the way. Come learn from my successes and mistakes as I design my life, one project at a time. Want to get in touch? Email Me.

Litter and littering is a huge problem. Not only does it threaten and cost the environment dearly, but it's also costing us too - last year, the local authorities spent £682 million just to keep our streets clean. So, I think we can all agree that as a society, we need to not only reduce the amount of waste we produce, we also need to ensure that it's disposed of correctly. We all see litter - it's everywhere, so how can we not - but quite often we see it as someone else’s problem - we didn't drop it, so we don't have to pick it up. But, once it’s there lying on the floor, blowing around our streets, into our forests, onto our beaches, and into our seas, it is our responsibility. It’s our planet and we should all be working together to clean it up.

As long as humanity has had beliefs in a higher power, the use of magic, spells, curses, and incantations have featured widely across cultures. A number of influential texts or ‘grimoires’ (textbooks of magic) were developed over the centuries, many of which became the books of choice for secret societies and occult organizations that endured well into the twentieth century.
