Hello there, I hope everyone is well. After an extended time off due to recovering from surgery (nothing serious), I am finally back in my craft room! It will be a bit slow to start with, so I hope you will bear with me but it is nice to be back! Today I have a card to share with you using the Spellbinders April 2023 Large Die of the Month Club Kit. This month is called "Punch & Pierce Frame & Sentiments" and you can see why! There are a few different layers/panels that you can use (I used two of them on my card today). There are also lots of lovely sentiments too! PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure. I started off my card by die cutting the piercing frame die from the Spellbinders April 2023 Large Die of the Month Club Kit from white cardstock. I popped all the pieces out and then adhered it flat to an A2 white card base. I then die cut the smallest of the panels from white cardstock also. The 'hello' word was die cut three times from Spellbinders Royal Amethyst Cardstock for the word itself and the shadow cut from white twice. They were layered up, one on top of another using Bearly Art Glue, for dimension. I then stamped the 'from me to you' sentiment from the Spellbinders Sentiments For You Stamp Set on to white cardstock with Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink and cut into a strip. I already had some of the Spellbinders Be Bold Blooms Etched Dies cut. I like to have these cut but not assembled, so that I can assemble them when needed. I grabbed some purple flowers and green leaves and arranged them on the panel. Apart from the large flower, they were all adhered flat to the panel. The large flower was popped up slightly with thin foam tape. The sentiments were then adhered in the middle with more thin foam tape. The panel was adhered to the card with thin foam tape and then the card finished off with a few Spellbinders Fashion Oyster Color Essentials Pearl Dots. SPELLBINDERS CLUB KITS I hope that you will check out the Spellbinders Club Kits. It is a wonderful monthly subscription where you receive the kit each month. Designers like myself share inspiration using the kit at the beginning of the month to show you lots of different ways that you can use it. There are also lots of other club kits too, like the Small Die of the Month, Clear Stamp & Die of the Month, Embossing Folder of the Month (plus lots more!), so there is something for everyone! If you do subscribe, you will get other benefits from Spellbinders too. Please see here for more information. You can also buy older kits here too. To buy the kit - if you are a current subscriber to the Large Die of the Month Club Kit (or any kit), you do not need to do anything. You will be charged as normal on the 5th of the month and your kit will be shipped to you. If you are a new subscriber, you can purchase the kit from the 6th - 27th of April 2023. Members can cancel their membership at any time. Although this card is a little busier than I would normally go, with the piercing detail, I still think it is pretty! Thank you so much for stopping by today and bearing with me in my absence. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Hello friends. It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and this time out "Topping" option was chosen by Ashwini and it is Many of Something. If you are not into the "Topping" option, just make it for a birthday. Also, a big welcome to our new team member Linda Snodgrass. Glad to have you with us Linda. I had started to use SU Wreath Builder dies with some small blooms but ended up using Spellbinders Be Bold Blooms and die cut many blooms and many leaves for my card. The colors are SU Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody and Pumpkin Pie for the blooms and buds. I added brown enamel dots to the centers of the blooms. The leaves are Pear Pizzazz and Wild Wasabi (ret.). I did cut apart the wreath die cut for the lighter green leaves. I arranged these on a white panel embossed with SU Painted Texture EF. The sentiment is from an older Verve set. I used a corner rounder to round the edges and mounted it with foam tape. The white panel is added to a mat of Mango Melody and then to the white card base. Be sure to check out all the fabulous cards by my teammates over at Seize the Birthday. I hope you join us for this fun challenge. Happy Stamping, JoAnn
* Handmade Happy Birthday Card * Standard U.S. A2 size: 4.25" x 5.5" * Made from Sturdy 110# Cardstock * No Additional Postage Required for Mailing * Matching Envelope is Included Let her know that you're thinking of her on her birthday. This pretty floral card has pink and gray hand tinted die cut flowers adhered on a dark gray card stock that has a punched design around the edge. The "Happy Birthday" sentiment is heat embossed with gold on white. On the inside is "Celebrating with you is the best!" stamped in black. The card has plenty of room inside to allow you to add your personal, handwritten message. The matching pink envelope is included. This card does not require any additional postage to mail. This card was made with so much love! Each card takes between 3-4 to complete, with none of it being printed from a computer. If you love this card but would prefer a different sentiment on the front (Get Well, Sending Hugs, Thinking of You, etc.) please message us with your request. We can change the colors of the card as well. (Please note that custom orders will add 3 days to normal delivery time.) Please keep in mind that these cards are constructed completely by hand, not by machine. As such, there may be small "quirks" to the card. Bear in mind, however, that if I would not send this card to my best friend it will NOT appear in my shop. Every effort has been taken to ensure that the colors are accurately represented but every screen is different so there may be slight variances to the actual card.

I had a bunch of fun making these florals using my Spellbinders Bold Blooms dies. I over did it and made many more than I needed. So, you'll see quite a few card made with these blooms. Today, I am sharing some Mother's Day cards.
I have a card for the the Color Hues Challenge - Orange and Green. Naturally, I thought of flowers so here is my card. I was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest. I used a different background, sentiment and different colors. I used Spellbinders Be Bold Blooms again (love this set). I die cut the flowers from white and sponged the centers and small blooms with SU Peach Parfait ink (retired). I die cut the flower centers and branches from SU Early Espresso card. The leaves are cut from Wild Wasabi card (retired) and the sprigs from SU Certainly Celery card (retired). The white panel is die cut with Ink to Paper Border Bling: Tin Stitches and layered with a mat cut from SU More Mustard (retired). The sentiment is from SU Blossoms in Bloom (retired) stamped in Early Espresso ink and mounted with foam tape. The larger blooms are also mounted with foam tape and the leaves glued under the petals. Sorry for all the retired products but I find it hard to get rid of them. :) Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day. Happy Stamping, JoAnn

Hey friends, welcome back to my card making blog. Today I'm playing with Spellbinders Be Bold Blooms and Precision Layered Mini Slimline Dies. I finally got the Spellbinders' Bold Blooms! I have a drawer full of scrap cardstock. This die set is perfect for using up the scraps. Look at all the colors I used. I really like how the dies cut and emboss at the same time, adding dimension. The only diecut I popped up with foam is the large blue flower near the bottom. The sentiment is from an old stamp set by Hero Arts, I stamped and gold embossed it. The best news? Spellbinders has a huge sale going on, this die is on sale, and quite a few dies are now 50% off! Guess what? Today's a playdate with a friend. Yep. We're 'Playing Cards With Friends' today. My sweet and talented friend, Michele Ferguson from I Card Everyone asked if I'd like to join her and create a card. Delightful! Michele gave these parameters: Make a card for a neighbor or friend, and hand deliver it. Flowers are always welcome, in fact, let's make them die cut flowers. Include a kind sentiment. Check, check and check! And if you look closely, I added an embossed background, something I always swoon over on Michele's beautifully crafted cards. I have a neighbor I've known a long time. She's extraordinary, talented, beautiful and caring. I can't wait to let her know how much I appreciate her friendship. Well, Michele... If you lived near me, you'd get this card, but as it is, I'm happy to share it with a dear neighbor and friend. Let's all run over to Michele's blog to see her creation. Happy Day, everyone! https://icardeveryone.blogspot.com/2023/02/playing-cards-with-friends-february-2023.html One last mention before you go, the 17th of this month is: https://nationaltoday.com/random-act-kindness-day/ Pretty fitting that we made a kindness card, isn't it? Thanks, Michele. I had a wonderful time. Hope we can play together again some time! 💕 And... as promised a card, with patterned paper, same die set, new colors, and a sentiment for Random Acts of Kindness Day, which is today. Michele, lets do this again!
