Welcome to my 2020 Christmas Home Tour Decorating for Christmas this year has brought me so much joy. 2020 has been a really crazy year. But we can still find joy and peace in our homes. Last year i sent all out with red and white and this year I kept my colors more neutral and calm. That's one of my favorite things about Christmas decorating, you can switch it up each year depending on our mood. Thanks for coming and I hope you enjoy the tour! This year I decided to make a lot of the ornaments for my tree. Here are some of the frosted hand painted ornaments I made this year. I also made some dried flower glass ornaments that add so much texture and interest to my tree. I really loved how there ornaments turned out. A few months ago I made this wood TV frame so I could add some inexpensive digital art and make it look like a large picture. Pretty rad huh! Logs by the warm fire make this feel so inviting and cozy Of course there need to be treats for Santa! We'll leave out some yummy chocolate milk and frosted Gingerbread cookies Knit stockings with handmade name tags hang by the fire with layered cedar and wood and bell garlands I love decorating my DIY open shelving in my dining area. These wood houses from Target are so fun and simple. I also added some faux cedar and bottle brush trees along with some ornaments and gingerbread houses. I love creating tablescapes for the holidays. I kept this years pretty simple and classic with some beautiful gray stoneware, a long cedar garland and some bubble twinkle lights with tall white tapper candles for a clean classic cozy feel One of my favorite tips for a tablescape is adding layers, either with a table runner, a throw blanket or tablecloth. Then add a charger, then layer your plates and napkins its so easy to bring some Christmas cheer into your kitchen with items like garland and small wreaths tied to the back of chairs Every night this garland around my kitchen window comes on while I'm cooking dinner I just love it! Christmas in my bedroom I didnt go super crays in my room this year only a few Chrsitmas items and of course a Christmas tree from King of Christmas! I like to keep my nightstand/ dresser clutter free so i added a few wood trees and a cedar and white berry flower arrangement I made this hoop wreath last week! It was so easy and inexpensive, its perfect over my bed I put a Christmas tree in my bedroom a few years ago and have had to have one ever since. I love having the twinkling lights while I lay in bed and read at night Even this little corner in my laundry room got a little Christmas cheer! I have been collecting gold bells for years. they are the perfect Christmas decor item. I love to hang them from wreaths, hooks or set them on a coffee table My little front porch also got Christmasified trees, twinkle lights and metal lanterns filled with gild bells and candles. Thank you so much for joining my Christmas Home Tour this year. Be sure to head over to Jennifer Rizzos Home tour! Merry Christmas xoxoxo Lindsay

This dish gained a bad reputation during the Seventies and Eighties because it was often cooked so badly – drowned in an overpowering sea of rich, cheesy sauce. If it’s made with a just a little sauce that’s been carefully flavoured with small amounts of mustard, tarragon and Gruyère, it’s still one of the best hot lobster dishes there is. See our grilled lobster thermidor for a lighter version of this classic dish.

Happy Wednesday! WOW! This week is moving right along, we've already made it to hump day! I guess it helps being really busy at work to make your week pass by fast. Today I have a sweet, simple little fun holiday tag featuring one of my very favorite things...a snowman! A snowman made out of vintage buttons no less. Pin It I used some Kraft card stock, cut out some medium sized scalloped circles using my Nesties and then glued the buttons on to form the snowman. I added a little red and white baker's twine for his bow and then used an old Stampin Up set to stamp the sweet flakes and sentiment. Lastly I punched a hole at the top of the scallop and threaded another piece of twine through for the hanger. I suppose you could use this for an ornament as well as a gift tag on a special package. I think it turned out adorable! I have 3 of these left in my Etsy shop for sale for a VERY reasonable price, so please check it out. You're sure to find more lovelies when you visit too! Thanks for stopping by today. Please come again really soon, but until then...have a lovely day! HUGS! :)
