I offer a unique perspective that will forever tell the story of your special day, family, or life milestones. Capture the joy with an experienced, award winning photojournalist and portrait photographer. Wedding ~ Senior ~ Family ~ Sports ~ Events About me: Please bear with me, I am not a writer, and not a fan of talking about myself. I have loved photography since my sophomore year in high school, at Mt Baker when I was shown the most wonderful place on earth, a darkroom! After that, I think I spent the majority of my time there and still miss the smell of fixer on my hands. I have kept it as a hobby ever since. My kids will have more pictures of themselves then they will ever know what to do with. I recently upgraded to the wonderful world of digital slr’s. It’s a long way from my AE-1 or N65, both of which I still have and my boys love to use. Its taken me a bit to be convinced that digital can still have the depth that film does (still not 100%) but with the cost of developing and storing everything I broke down. I am loving my hobby all over again. Instant gratification is great, seeing that great picture right away is pretty cool, I have to admit. I have the amazing opportunity and luck to actually make my passion my job. My husband works as a supervisor at BP and I am extremely lucky for this. It has allowed me to set my own hours in my work and to be as busy or as slow as our schedule allows. I was a mortgage originator for 6 yrs and in banking of some sort for 11. I have always wanted to take the jump and make this my "real" job, and finally took the leap. To be cliche', I have not looked back! I am learning and practicing as much as possible through classes and workshops. I love to take pictures at all types of events, wedding, birthday parties, dances, family gatherings, you name it. I love seeing the story, feeling and emotion frozen in a photograph. If I had to choose my favorite thing to photograph I would have to say seniors and sports wins hands down. It's wonderful to have a passion and career that involves my family. My husband likes it, well because he loves sports. He is almost entirely to blame for my love of them. I figured, after having 2 boys, if you can't beat them join them! My kids love it because they like to see and share photos of themselves, their teams and friends. Please comment on anything, email me with advise, suggestions, anything that will help. One thing I love about sports photography is that no matter what there is always going to be a new angle, new style of picture and someone better then me or has a different take or style on what makes a great picture. There is always another level to get to and It will never be boring. Your purchases and downloads support youth programs and sports. A portion of the proceeds from the youth galleries will be donated to the programs they are of.

All different fonts and colors--Go check them out!! $50.00 + $15.00 Shipping and Handling. SHOP SITE: ** CLICK HERE ** -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We were outside cleaning up sunday while the sun was out ;) Now that I'm a total DIYer when it comes to decorating, my mind never stops. I came across a bucket of extra trim we had in the garage.. HMMM.. What could I possibly do with all this trim? I was grasping for ideas when it hit me.. Here is my sign made from our stash of leftover Trim, Want to learn how::::Read the following steps:::: 1.) So I started painting each individual piece of trim. (I had 5) A pale yellow, bright aqua, and 3 other neutral colors.. After just one coat, I let them dry for about a half hour. 2.) Then I sanded them down a bit with some sand paper I had (any ordinary stuff will work) 3.) Get out your cricut machine! ... Decide what you would like your sign to say.. Cut out the saying.. 4.) With JUST the background of the saying, stick it where you'd like your saying to be. (Instead of wasting a load of money on wall decal paper, I used contact paper.. found at TJMAXX for 5$ for 150 feet!) Contact paper is perfect.. it sticks well enough to not let paint run 5.) After you get your saying on, where the rest of baseboard is peaking through, tape it all up with extra contact paper, or painters tape or any tape so that JUST the letters are showing! 6.) Take out side and with black spray paint, spray all your letters.. I only did one coat of spray paint.. 7.) After you give that a half hour to dry, gently peal off the tape and contact paper. (If you pull hard, the tape will take some of the letter's paint with it) The tape will take off more of the trim's paint itself, but don't worry it only adds more character!!! 8.) Now set the pieces of trim out on the carpet.. It's time for hot glue. First, I hot glued my 'fearfully and wonderfully' trim boards together because the letters ran together on both pieces and I didn't wanna lose that for when i flip them all over and glue them together. 9.) Flip them all over and place them how you'd like to see them on your wall.. Glue the creases of the boards together (only from the back.. you don't want a mess on the front!) 10.) Hammer in a little bracket so you can hang your masterpiece!!! 11.) Now take 2 paint stirrers.. or rulers.. and hot glue them vertically so they are on top of ALL the trim pieces.. one on one side and one on the other (picture will be below) 12.) Let the glue dry and that's it!! Very easy I must say so myself :) I'm super pleased at how it turned out! More pictures are below , Thanks, hope you liked it! Jordann- J House Tawk (.blogspot.com)
