So another fun card using the Back on Your Feet stamp set...I LOVE this set :). I know you have heard me say it before :).... It is soooo darn cute. The first one uses Early Espresso paper and the second one using Whisper White. Which do you like? This card is easy to make, but there are a lot of steps. So you will want to follow along on my video. The supplies to make this card are listed below. The measurements are as follows: - Crumb cake cardstock 8 1/4 by 7 7/8 - "front" layer - (early espresso or whisper white depending on which card you are making) - 1 3/4 X 1 3/4 - front DSP layer -1 1/2 X 1 1/2 - Inside DSP layer 1 3/4 X 1 3/4 - Garden green scrap for leaves and oval layer - whisper white scrap for stamping sloth and sentiments With you scoring tool and the 8 1/4 inches along the top, you want to score every 2 inches (you will have 4 score lines) Turn the paper so that the 7 7/8 is along the top and cut at 2 inches, move across to 2 inches and cut again. you are now ready to assemble the card. Back on Your Feet from Stampin' Up is as cute as can be and the perfect set for get well wishes. This card is headed to the Big Guy's barber. I don't know about you but I can't even begin to count how many people have cut my hair in the last fifty years. But the Big Guy has only had one! His barber is well into his eighties and has reduced hours but has no plans to retire. Unfortunately for the first time that we can remember he has closed his shop due to illness. Word on the street though is that he will be up and clipping soon! Cecile has a delightfully breezy sketch for us this week at Freshly Made Sketches! Hope you join us! The Paper Players has a CAS masculine theme this week. Stamp Sets: Back on Your Feet, Waterfront Ink: Balmy Blue, Seaside Spray, Granny Apple Green, Memento Black, Copics Paper: Whisper White

How goes it today, my friends? I decided to make an encouragement card for some people whose lives have been turned upside down in this pandemic. I know when you first see my card you will think I had been drinking when I made it...thus the fair warning! The knotted giraffe is stamped with the Back on Your Feet Stamp Set. I colored him with Light and Dark Crumb Cake Blends and the Ivory Blend. Once I had stamped and colored him, I ran the panel through my Big Shot using the retired Stones EF. I still had some retired Animal Expedition DSP left for the giraffe who has holes in his neck, the sloth and the frog. The sloth is adhered upside down on purpose. I stamped the sentiment in Rich Razzleberry and cut it out with a die from the retired Word Bubble set. I then adhered the art panel crookedly on purpose. Want to know why? Okay, here's why... I printed out my own sentiment and then stamped and colored the turtle with all the green Blends I had. The second sentiment is from the Back on Your Feet set. It would be nice not to have to make cards like this but I thought it might bring a smile to some people's faces. I hope it brought one to yours. Alphabet Challenge Blog has a limit of three entries for their "A is for Anything Goes" challenge so I have chosen to make this card my second entry. They are also celebrating their 10th Anniversary. I may have an anniversary card coming up for them for my third and last entry. I hope you'll check out their site if you haven't already. Thank you for stopping by today and I might just have an Easter card for you tomorrow.

Good Monday Morning Masculine Makeover card day. I hope you had a fantastic Mother's Day. Whoa...lot's of M & M's there!! My card today is a CASE of a card we made at Stamp Club last Thursday. Sue L. prepared the kit for us and I went rogue with a little help from Lisa Ann Bernard of Queen B Creations. The Back on Your Feet Stamp Set is a great one and I'm so glad it carried over to the new Annual Catalog. Here's my card... I believe this is called a Z fold card but I'm sure the folks at Double Trouble can tell me...especially Thing 1: Trouble Maker! Double Trouble #83 Challenge is the place to visit to see all the "Things". I'm also playing along with Thing 2: Double Dare (which also gets me into Double Trouble at Crafting Happiness Challenge #95 - Frogs) and Thing 3: Twisted Sister! The froggah on the front (from the retired By The Dock Stamp Set) is definitely upside down along with friend, Mr. Turtle! On the last panel he is showing things are on the mend as he is back to normal, right side up. Thank you for stopping by today and please come back tomorrow for our monthly Amy's Inkin' Krew Blog Hop.
