This unit, along with its accompanying powerpoint and lapbook activities, will help your students understand the reasons behind Australia's colonisation and the difficulties faced during the expansion of European settlement in Australia. It will adequately assist you in meeting the Australian Year 5 History curriculum requirements (version 8.4 and 9.0).
