This bush stone curlew sits motionless watching for any threats to her young chick
Bush Stone-curlews are a secretive and enigmatic bird most easily found in the northern parts of Australia. I have created these prints by hand carving a piece of lino, rolling ink onto the lino and hand printing the print onto the paper. I then hand coloured the large eyes with yellow watercolour. Each print has been lovingly created by me in my Melbourne studio. Paper: acid free paper. Size approx 300mm long and 230mm high Your hand signed print will be one of only 100 created, each one slightly different which makes it unique. Please contact me if you have any questions. This species is said to be endemic to Australia in Wikipedia, but this is not mentioned in my field guide, so I'm not sure about that.
