On August 15th, Archbishop Viganò responded to a letter from Remnant Editor Michael Matt. Mr. Matt asked for Viganò’s thoughts on Bishop Barron’s latest defense of Vatican II, which he launched on his “Word on Fire” website. If you haven’t yet read Viganò’s excellent response, please read it here. As Abp. Viganò states at the outset, he preferred to focus his reflection on the introductory passage from Benedict XVI rather than focus on the “Vatican II FAQs” Barron’s website proposes. Thus, I thought I’d try my hand on giving brief alternative answers to Barron’s Vatican II FAQs.
