This is a copy of "The Masons of Lane Delph and the origin of Masons Patent Ironstone China" by Reginald G. Haggar, published in 1952 by Geo. l. Ashworth, London. There are 104 pages, 8 colour plates and other illustrations. Size is 25 x 19cm ( 10 x 7.5 inches ). The binding is red cloth with gilt titles to front and spine, bright and clean. Internally, there is the Ex Libris bookplate of Griselda Lewis to the front endpaper and some spotting to the endpapers, otherwise in good condition. Complete with tatty unclipped dust jacket. Really handy guide for collectors! Griselda Lewis was a renowned collector, author and ceramics expert. Along with her husband John, they wrote many books on pottery, porcelain and other ceramics as well as advising and designing books for other authors.
