We recommend vacuuming regularly and/or shaking to remove dust. For the best results, use a vacuum cleaner without a beater brush, on a low-power setting. P.E.T. rugs may be rinsed regularly with an outdoor hose and mild soap. Allow your rug to dry completely after exposure to excessive water from a hose or heavy rain. To avoid mold/mildew growth do not leave your rug in standing water for extended periods of time. Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight. For outdoor use, we recommend placing your rug under a covered area to prevent fading, and rotating or flipping it occasionally to equalize wear. Blot spills immediately with a white cloth. Please note that harsh chemicals may damage or fade the rug.

Here’s a quick before and after! I can finally share my kitchen reveal with you all! When we closed, the first project we wanted to tackle was our kitchen. I always knew I was going to paint the cabinets because I wanted to pick a custom color for the bottom half. I started work on them the day we closed. I’m a complete control freak so I wouldn’t let Colin help with much. If it didn’t turn out well, at least it would be my fault. haha. I did let him help with sanding and putting the cabinets back together because I was exhausted at that point. Colin and I really thought we could finish them over a weekend. Boy, were we wrong. It took us over 2 weeks to finish just the painting and I painted every single night. The worst part was not being able to use our kitchen during the process or unpacking. I did a lot of research before I started painting. I plan to write a post on the process soon, to discuss what I learned and what I would have done differently than what I read online. Check out some of the images below! Overall, we are pretty pleased with how it turned out! It took some time and mockups to figure out what color we wanted. I actually had to talk Colin into letting pick a green. Everyone I told it to was kinda like “really…?” haha. But I LOVE how it turned out. Anyway, I could always change it if I outgrow it. There is still some work that needs to be done, especially in the breakfast nook but we are loving the direction it is headed!
