Here is my project for today. I have combined designer series paper, dies and stamps from the Artfully Composed Suite together with other staples from my collection. The front of the Thick Basic White card base is completely covered with an embossed piece of Basic White. The Wintry 3-d Embossing Folder is one of the narrower folders, but I've hidden the join under the decorative panel, and I love how the texture complements the DSP. The DSP panel is the full height of the card and is enhanced with a narrow border of Evening Evergreen and a decorative, die cut Pear Pizzazz border. I've also used Pear Pizzazz for the die cut spray of leaves but, to provide some contrast, the larger leaf is cut from the slightly darker shade of Old Olive. For consistency, I stamped the leaf detail and the sentiment using Evening Evergreen ink and I really like the way it pops against the green and the white. I'm also really pleased how the Stitched Rectangle die cut label is such a perfect fit for the sentiment! To complete the card I added some sparkle (Iridescent Rhinestones and Wink of Stella on the larger leaf) and a dainty Baker's Twine bow. This was so much fun to put together and I'm really pleased with how it turned out. I hope you like it too. Let me know what you think in the comments below. I can’t get enough of the new Artfully Layered Bundle from the new January – June 2022 Mini Catalogue. To make the two coloured leaf I’ve run the die through the Mini Cut & Emboss Machine twice. Once with Soft Succulent and once with Evening Evergreen cardstock. Then I just swapped out the centre pieces,...

I really liked the look of La Fee Kiki's card (found on Pinterest). I wanted to create one similar, but with greens! Thanks so much for your inspiration Kiki! I paired the 'Artfully Layered' stamp set with the Stone embossing folder. I used the Rectangle Stitched dies to cut out the sentiment. Thanks for taking a closer look! Stamp set - Artfully Layered Ink - Evening Evergreen Paper - Evening Evergreen, Mint Macaron, Basic White, Evening Evergreen DSP Accessories - Stampin' Trimmer, Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine, Rectangle Stitched dies, Tropical Layers dies, Stone Embossing folder
Hello and welcome to my blog. This is my card to entry to Kylie Bertucci's International Project Highlights for February 2022 - the theme is Thank you. This is a cheer you up sort of card - the colours are so fresh and it was a joy to make! So much so that I made lots of very similar ones for a team swap. The card is quite simple but I'm really pleased with how it turned out. Layering DSP and dies cuts together is a classic card making technique - I've used the Stitched Rectangles and the Layering Contours (which are some of my favourite dies) along with the new Tropical Layers dies. The Basic White card layer nests neatly inside the scalloped layer and has been embossed using the Wintry 3-d Embossing Folder. I was surprised how much the texture of the leaves in the embossing folder resemble some of the leaves on the patterned paper. So, even though leaves in this suite are by any means wintry, quite the opposite in fact, they complement each other well. And, I do like the added texture! The leaves and sentiment are both stamped in Evening Evergreen ink and then the finishing touches include enhanching the leaf detail with a swoosh of Wink of Stella, a Linen Thread bow and some of my favourite gold Metallic Pearls. Popping the decorated panel up on Dimensionals completes my leafy thank you card perfectly. As mentioned at the beginning I am entering Kylie's International Project Highlights and you can follow the link to the gallery where you will find heaps more inspiration AND you can vote for your favourite five projects. At the end of the voting the Top Ten winners will be invited to take part in a blog hop at the end of the month. I would love to take part in the hop, so I would really appreciate your help. Please would you visit the gallery and vote for my card? Click on the little heart on my card, which is number 13. Thank you so much for stopping by today. If you want to purchase the items used for these cards, or any other supplies, please take a look in my online Stampin' Up! shop. It's always fun to play with a suite of products from Stampin' Up!. This week on my Livestream on Facebook, I shared a couple of cards from the Artfully Composed Suite that you can find in the January to June 2022 Mini Catalogue. When Stampin' Up! puts products together for you, it takes away all the guess work of what will look great together on your project. It even gives you a whole colour scheme to play with.On this first card, I really wanted to focus on the Artfully Layered Stamp Set. With

It is Stampin' Fancy Friday Challenge time! (Although new inspiration for the monthly challenge is posted almost every day now...not just Fridays!!! 💥) And this month it is a BIRTHDAY CHALLENGE! Since I love birthdays (for others...not necessarily for me. Haha.) ... I wanted to use one of my very FAVORITE bundles from the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog called Artfully Layered! (Click HERE or on catalog name to see this fabulous catalog!) It. Is. Fantastic! Major Swoon! 😍 I will show you how fabulous this bundle is, but first...here is the card! Colors: Polished Pink, Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, Black, Whisper White, Gold Inks: Granny Apple Green, VersaMark, Memento Black Cardstock/Papers: Whisper White, Thick Whisper White, Polished Pink, Coastal Cabana, Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, Gold Foil Sheets, Pattern Party Host Designer Series Paper Stamps: Artfully Layered Tools: Tropical Layers Dies, Water Painter, Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder, Heat Tool Accessories: Linen Thread, From My Heart Faceted Gems, Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder, White Stampin' Emboss Powder Naturally...since it is called "Artfully Layered" Bundle...I had to use a lot of layers! Haha. (Ok...that was really just a coincidence...or really...just something I do often. Haha.) And I have to say...it works for this card! So here is picture overload to show you the layers! This fun palm was actually cut out from watercolored Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. The Granny Apple Green cardstock was too rich for the color that I really wanted, so I just did a watercolor wash onto the watercolor paper with Granny Apple Green ink. Then used the dies to die-cut it out! Love how versatile products can be! Also...that black splatter makes all those bright colors pop even more, in my opinion! Thanks for being such a great supporting element, black splatter! 😁 I mean...check out the DOUBLE EMBOSSING!!! I am going to call it double embossing because I first embossed the piece of Whisper White cardstock with Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder. And THEN I used the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder after that. ♡ LOVE! ♡ So you have the fabulous double embossing, but then you also have splatter, fun layered die-cuts, designer series paper, linen thread, etc...basically texture galore! Which makes my heart swoon more! Hee. So I have to admit...I am really loving how this birthday challenge card came out! Now...what do you think about all the pieces of this Artfully Layered Bundle?! Pretty fabulous, huh?!? 😁 Yeah...a little obsessed! But...now it is time to go check out all the other designers projects for this challenge! Check out @stampinfancyfriday on Instagram or Stampin' Fancy Friday on Facebook! Tag us in the projects you make for this challenge! Can't wait to see! Thank you for visiting! Please let me know if you have any questions! Would be happy to help you with all of your paper crafting needs! ..
