Well, I think I pulled it off. And since there's no reason for me to hoard my design, I thought I'd share it with ya'll, and hopefully you can get some good use out of it! I've made them available in both black/white and in color. The original image is HUGE, so you could get it printed on poster board if you wanted to, and make a massive version. I used a hot glue gun to assemble it. Also, there is purposefully a hole in the bottom, to make it easier to string the balloons through the roof. You can easily cover it up if you don't like the way it looks by tracing around the bottom of the house once it's finished:) ALSO, I RECOMMEND WAITING TO GLUE THE BOTTOM FLAPS TOGETHER TILL VERY LAST! (Otherwise, you're going to have one heck of a time putting the roof on. Just sayin'). If you're wondering how heavy it was... Around 1 1/2 oz. And if you're wondering how many balloons it takes to lift 1 1/2 oz... It takes about 9, 11-inch balloons filled with helium. We used ten, and it soared even with a bit of extra weight on it! So be careful, cuz one little slip and your cute little UP house could be on it's way to Paradise Falls! It takes some brain work, putting it all together. Unfortunately, I didn't number the flaps or color coat them, or make it in any way easy to follow. I apologize for that, but I did make a little map that will HOPEFULLY help! If you have any questions on the assembly though, just let me know:) Good luck and enjoy! I received an inquiry about the A pieces connecting to house section #3. There are two crease marks missing, that will make ALL the difference in fitting them together: First off, there needs to be two bends on this piece. Straight across from where the blue siding ends on each side. (I purposefully did NOT make a crease line, because I didn't like the look of a black line through the fish scale siding, but it's kind of a necessary step!) And another bend on the top line of the white siding. The second error I made is this: there should be a crease line like so: (I penciled it in). Then bend it under. And this is how they fit together: Hope that helps! SECOND FIX! Hi there! I finally got to putting another little house together, and found that uhhhh yeah... #7 is a piece of work! I have no idea how I ever got it to work the first time around, but I'll show you what I did to fix it, and have updated the printable version as well. First: I snipped the whole thing in half, like so. And then made a little slice on the bottom left piece (if you look closely you can see it). Then I slid it right into place. The other piece I glued to the inside, just on the scalloped edge along the bottom so it leaves room to slide the roof between the siding and the #7 roof pieces. It should look something like this: And then all you have to do is put the roof on, it's not perfect (nothing about this little house IS perfect, I'm not a professional-anything, but it's still cute all the same!) I hope that clears things up, and I'm SO sorry for the confusion/frustration. Que a criança sinta gratidão por Jesus. 1) Quebra-gelo: Imaginemos que os nossos avós vivem muito longe, mas decidiram passar o natal em nossa casa. Como eles avisariam o dia da chegada? (Permitir respostas, provavelmente eles dirão, carta, telefone, e-mail, mensagem de celular etc) E de que maneira ficaríamos sabendo por exemplo, eu o Presidente vou visitar a sua cidade? (Permitir respostas, provavelmente eles dirão, televisão, carro de som, jornal, rádio, internet, etc) Sim, essas são as maneiras mais comuns de nos comunicar atualmente. Um dia Deus quis dar um anuncio muito importante. Ele usou um método muito especial para isto. Vamos conferir? HISTÓRIA Um dia Maria estava trabalhando na sua casa. Havia muita coisa para fazer! Ela era jovem e amava muito a Deus e gostava de ajudar a sua família porque sabia que isso agradava a Deus. Ela também esperava a promessa de Deus, o nascimento do Messias! Maria cria que Deus cumpriria a sua Palavra mas não sabia quando isso aconteceria. De repente, Maria percebeu que não estava mais sozinha! Havia diante dela uma pessoa estranha, vestida de branco, brilhava como uma luz! Era um anjo! Ele se chamava Gabriel. Deus o enviara com um anuncio muito especial! Deus usou anjos para anunciar um evento MARAVILHOSO. Você sabem que evento era esse? (Permitir respostas) Sim!! O Nascimento do nosso Senhor Jesus! Sabem o que os anjos falaram? (Apresente um caixote de madeira destes encontrados em feira, cheio de palha e com uma boneca embrulhada em panos.) · E diga às crianças: · Já pensaram colocar aqui, sem lençol mas só com palhas, um nenê que acabou de nascer? · O Filho de Deus, Jesus poderia nascer em um rico palácio, com muito ouro, mas Ele foi nascer num lugar simples, onde os animais comiam. Jesus nasceu num lugar humilde, mesmo sendo Deus. HISTÓRIA: Nós já vimos que Maria havia recebido a notícia que teria um filho que deveria ser chamado de Jesus. Ela e seu noivo moravam numa cidade chamada Nazaré. Um dia o Rei daquela região querendo saber quantas pessoas havia no seu reino mandou que se fizesse uma lista com o nome de todo povo. Toda a população deveria escrever seu nome nesta lista indo até a cidade onde morava sua família. José e Maria então se aprontaram para fazer esta viagem. Maria estava grávida e por isso viajava montada num burrinho. Era quase época de seu nenê nascer, mas eles tinham que obedecer a ordem do rei. Por isso viajaram até a cidade da família de José que era Belém. Assim cumpria-se a promessa que Deus havia feito 700 anos antes, de que seu filho nasceria em uma cidade chamada Belém. Quando chegaram lá viram que a cidade estava cheia de gente e que todas as hospedarias, que eram pequenos hotéis estavam cheios também. Maria estava grávida e o nenê deveria nascer por aqueles dias. Como não havia lugar eles ficaram em uma estrebaria, que era o lugar onde os animais passavam a noite. Maria sabia que seu nenezinho iria nascer e assim aconteceu. Naquela noite, e naquela estrebaria junto com uma porção de animais Jesus nasceu. Maria embrulhou-o com paninhos para que Jesus não sentisse frio e deitou-o na manjedoura que era o lugar onde os animais comiam. Foi a noite mais linda que já existiu. Deus colocou no céu uma estrela grande e muito brilhante como um sinal que Jesus havia nascido. Nós comemoramos esta data até hoje, que é o natal. Natal quer dizer nascimento, o nascimento de Jesus. Deus entregou aquilo que mais amava porque seu amor por nós que é muito grande também. Deus nos deu seu Filho Jesus como Salvador, amigo e Senhor! Esse é o verdadeiro presente de Natal! Convide uma criança para ler Jo 3.16 .Depois pergunte: - Porque Deus entregou seu único Filho a um mundo pecador? (porque nos ama) Deus amava muito Jesus, mas sabia que o mundo precisava de um Salvador e do imenso amor que só Jesus poderia dar. Mesmo sabendo que Jesus teria que morrer por nós um dia, Deus quis muito nos dar seu Filho como presente. Imaginem! Deus nos amou tanto que deu seu único Filho para nos amar e salvar do pecado e da morte eterna. Nunca haverá um presente de amor como esse em todo o mundo! Lição 3: Os pastores adoram Jesus! Lucas 2:8-20 Os reis magos adoram Jesus! Mateus 2:1-12 Objetivos da Lição: Que as crianças compreendam que a celebração do Natal se deve a celebração do nascimento de Jesus. Que a criança sinta gratidão e alegria pelo nascimento de Jesus. Que as crianças sintam vontade de adorar Jesus assim como fizeram os magos. Que a criança ore agradecendo a Deus por enviar a Jesus. Ele nasceu esta noite e está na cidade de Belém dormindo em uma manjedoura. De repente, o céu se encheu de muitos anjos. Todos cantavam louvores a Deus! Em sua canção diziam: – “Glória a Deus no céu e paz a todos os homens.” Os pastores jamais tinham visto nada parecido. E assim como eles tinham aparecido, também desapareceram na noite estrelada. A luz brilhante que tinha enchido o céu, se apagou gradualmente e a noite ficou novamente tranquila como antes. Os pastores se entreolharam espantados! Eles ainda estavam tremendo com as incríveis coisas que tinham visto. – E agora, o que devemos fazer? , Perguntou um. -”Vamos a Belém”, disse outro - Para ver o maravilhoso acontecimento. “Sim, vamos”, disseram todos. Depressa foram para a cidade de Belém. Procuraram e perguntaram até que finalmente encontraram o estábulo, como o anjo havia dito. Ao entrar no galpão viram uma manjedoura, um lugar onde a palha é colocada para que os animais possam comer. E na manjedoura dormia um bebê recém-nascido. Os pastores ficaram em silêncio imediatamente. Eles não queriam acordar o bebê. – Xiiii! “Disse um deles. Silêncio! O Filho de Deus, o Salvador, está dormindo! Um por um, eles vieram para poder enxergar melhor. Alguns ajoelharam-se, pois sentiram a presença de Deus naquele lugar tão humilde. O bebê era tão pequeno! Tão indefeso! Tão lindo! Os pastores contaram para Maria e José tudo o que os anjos tinham dito. Os dois sorriram felizes. Eles já tinham ouvido os anjos falar . Sentiam uma grande alegria porque Deus confirmara a sua promessa de enviar o seu Filho ao mundo. Os pastores louvaram a Deus por aquilo que estavam vendo. – Obrigado, Senhor! “Eles disseram. Obrigado por nos amar tanto e por enviar seu Filho para viver entre nós. Glória ao seu nome! E eles se foram dali cheios de alegria e desejosos de compartilhar a grande notícia do nascimento de Jesus, o Filho de Deus com todas as pessoas. Uns homens muito ricos e muito sábios estudavam as estrelas. Eles tinham por costume fazer isso, eram estudiosos das estrelas, sabiam tanto do assunto que tinham até colocado nomes para algumas. De repente, um deles gritou: – Olhem! Há uma nova estrela! É bonita e muito grande. Todos olharam com muita atenção a nova estrela que tinha aparecido. E decidiram estudar em seus livros para ver se a estrela tinha algum significado especial. -”Olha o que diz aqui”, disse um deles. “Diz que a nova estrela significa que um novo rei nasceu!” -”Deve ser um rei muito importante “, comentou outro. “É uma estrela espetacular”. -”Eu acho que nós deveríamos ir ver este novo rei”, disse um terceiro. “Se ele é tão importante assim merece o nosso respeito e um sinal do nosso apreço.” – “Você está certo!” Disse o outro. “Vamos conhecê-lo e assim poderemos levar alguns presentes dignos de um rei importante. -“Mas como nós saberemos onde ele mora? Eles pensaram por um longo tempo e, finalmente, um deles disse: “Vamos seguir a estrela. E, provavelmente, descobriremos onde ele está!” Os homens prepararam seus pertences para uma longa viagem. Selecionaram belos presentes de ouro e perfumes finos para levar. Também tiveram que preparar comida para a viagem. Grande parte da viagem que iriam fazer seria atravessando o deserto, então tiveram que viajar em camelos, animais resistentes ao calor e forte para viagens longas. Durante muitos dias e noites viajaram nos camelos. Muitas vezes eles se sentiram cansados, mas quando viam a estrela que os guiava ficavam encorajados para conhecer o Rei. Depois de muito tempo, eles chegaram a Belém. A luz da estrela continuava a conduzi-los até que eles encontraram a casa onde estava Jesus, sua mãe Maria, e José. Maria e José olharam surpresos para aqueles homens tão diferentes com os seus camelos. Eram homens muito importantes e muito ricos. Eles entraram na casa e quando viram o menino Jesus, se ajoelharam diante dele, como se alguém muito importante. Eles pegaram seus belos presentes de ouro e perfumes finos e o entregaram para Jesus. Maria, então, lembrou algumas das palavras que dissera o anjo Gabriel. -É isso! Ela pensou. O anjo disse que Deus iria fazer rei a Jesus. Estes homens estão honrando Jesus como um verdadeiro rei! Os homens voltaram para o seu país muito felizes. Agradeceram a Deus porque a estrela os havia guiado através da longa viagem e foram capazes de ver o novo Rei, o Filho de Deus . Os pastores foram adorar Jesus. Os magos também reconheceram que Jesus era o verdadeiro Rei! Eles levaram presentes para Jesus. Que presentes poderíamos dar para Jesus hoje? (nosso respeito, nosso amor, nosso coração...) “Senhor Jesus, hoje dizemos que te amamos de todo o nosso coração. Amém “. Brincadeira: O Jogo: “O pastor e as ovelhas” Objetivo: Os alunos irão se familiarizar com o conceito do pastor que se preocupa com as ovelhas. Processo: a. As crianças devem se sentar ou ficar de pé em círculo. b. Nomeie uma criança como “o pastor das ovelhas”. A “ovelha” tocada no ombro se levanta e corre atrás do pastor, tentando tocá-lo antes que ele chegue ao espaço vazio. Se ele chegar sem ser tocado se converte em “ovelhas”. A criança que não conseguiu tocar o pastor torna-se o pastor. Se a ovelha toca o pastor antes de entrar no lugar ela volta ao seu lugar e o pastor deverá buscar outra ovelha. e. É preciso incentivar os “pastores” para tocar pelo menos uma vez todas as crianças em círculo. Lição 4: Os 3 presentes Objetivos da Lição: Que a criança entenda que Jesus é o nosso maior presente que Ele quer que entreguemos nosso coração a Ele! Que neste Natal a gente possa entender que Jesus é o nosso maior presente, mesmo que seja legal ganhar presentes, e é mesmo né? Mas o que ficará para nossa vida toda é receber Jesus em nosso coração. Este é o nosso maior presente!
