Immerse yourself in the sweeping, abstract vista of the Three Sisters slopes in Glencoe, captured in a print that vividly blends imagination with the wild essence of the Scottish Highlands. This artwork distills the rugged landscape into an expressive symphony of colour and form, where the bell heather's striking hues are reimagined through bold, impassioned brushstrokes. Amidst a medley of earthen tones and soft pastels, pockets of vibrant pink bell heather command attention, their robust shapes stretching towards the sky in a dance of natural beauty and artistic freedom. The characteristic peaks of the Three Sisters are rendered with a dream-like quality, their majestic presence enveloped in a mist of delicate greys and blues, underscoring the enigmatic mood of the highlands. The foreground is awash with reflective yellows and oranges, suggesting the play of light across the wild moors, while carefully placed daubs of white evoke the fleeting movement of clouds or the gentle grazing of distant sheep. Each layer of the print invites contemplation, drawing the observer into a world where the boundary between land, sky, and flora becomes a canvas for the senses. This abstract portrayal of one of Scotland's most iconic landscapes offers not just a piece of art for the wall, but a rich, textural narrative that promises to captivate and inspire. Whether as a tribute to the natural splendour of Glencoe or an emblem of artistic interpretation, this print is a statement piece that transcends the typical, evoking conversation and admiration in any space it inhabits.

This original painting is from around 2004 when I was heavily under the influence of surrealism. The sunset landscape is punctuated with groups of figures and a landform making an image of a face. There are a lot of unusual details painted into this scene This is one of the first paintings I made that experiments with a wildly colorful flow of abstraction within a representational image. Approximately 2 feet wide by 3 feet tall by 1 inch deep. Painted with acrylics on a gessoed canvas stretched over a wooden frame. Ready to hang.

Transport yourself to the serene beauty of the Scottish Highlands with our vibrant art print, capturing the essence of Loch Leven during the bountiful summer months. This piece brilliantly exemplifies the Fauvist style, distinguished by its bold use of colour and dynamic brushwork that together shape the landscape with an expressive, almost dreamlike quality. The foreground bursts with a rich tapestry of flora; fiery oranges, deep pinks, and soft yellows reach upward, mirroring the untamed wildflowers found in the highland meadows. A symphony of greens illustrates the lush, verdant banks, providing a refreshing coolness that invites the viewer's gaze to wander. Reflecting the vast sky above, the calm waters of Loch Leven capture and play with the sky's changing hues, from azure to a cool, almost silvery blue, suggesting the whimsy of a breezy summer's day. The loch meanders gracefully into the distance, flanked by rolling hills and majestic mountains painted in a range of purples, blues, and greens, their grandeur softened by the warm, caressing touch of sunlight. Above this highland idyll, the sky is a theatre of voluptuous clouds, rendered in soothing whites and greys, that drift lazily in the expanse of blue, casting gentle shadows on the mountainsides and contributing to the peaceful rhythm of the scene. This print from our 'Scotland in Summer' collection invites a moment of reflection and tranquillity into your space, evoking the timeless allure and natural splendour of one of Scotland's most enchanting landscapes. It is a celebration of summer's vitality, the boldness of Fauvism, and the sublime beauty of the Scottish wilds.

An ode to the serene beauty of the Scottish wilderness, this exquisite print captures the enchanting Roseroot herb poised against the natural majesty of Ben More, Isle of Mull. Stylized in the distinctive sinuous curves and elegant motifs characteristic of Art Nouveau, the piece interweaves flora and landscape to create a symphony of colour and form. Foregrounded are delicate clusters of Roseroot, their soft pink blooms gracefully arching towards the sun, set against a verdant backdrop of layered foliage and vivid orange flowers reminiscent of a painter's wild garden. These botanical elements, vibrant yet soothing, seem to pulse with life against the geometric solidity of the cliffs. The rocky terrain is rendered in a mosaic of cool blues and greys, creating a striking contrast to the warm, lush flora. Harmonious and organic, the partitioned rocks take on an almost tessellated quality, a testament to the union of natural form and artistic interpretation. Receeding into the distance, the tranquil blues of the sky and waterscape meet, their subtle gradations and gentle undulations suggesting both the calm and the power of the sea. This dichotomy is mirrored in the softness of the distant hills, shaded in misty blues and purples that invoke the vast and mysterious Scottish landscape. This print offers a journey for the eyes, inviting the viewer to explore each element and appreciate the serene beauty of Scotland's unique flora and formidable cliffs. An art piece that not only serves as a decorative addition to any space but also a reminder of the timeless allure found within nature's own gallery.

As a contemporary impressionist painter and lifelong nature enthusiast, Christine gathers most of her ideas by painting outdoors.
I've been painting since I was little. I loved bringing to life all the stories and fantastic characters that were living in my head. Later, art helped me to get through many dark days that came along. My colors and brushes became my therapist, my canvases, my friend, and everything I was feeling was illustrated with their help. Since becoming a mother I've circled back to my childhood fantasy painting. It connects me to my inner child and brings back that magical time of innocence.
