A PDF file with 3 Dublin Dragons threaded in patterns and clear instructions. You do not have to be an advanced weaver to use the file. It will walk you through all 3 different techniques of weaving: pebble weave, 1 missed hole, standard version with 4 threads per 1 tablet. The original tablet woven find comes from Dublin and is dated to approx. 10th century. Nowadays it is one of the most pupular patterns amongst Viking Age reenactors. It can be woven using the brocading technique (just like the original) or as a threaded-in variations (PDF covers the threaded in options). When writing the pattern I have made it first in 3 different ways - each of them had different starting tablets positions and thus, the tablets were moved in different orders. I tested all of them myself and chose the most ergonomic one - it is the most symmetrical one and easiest to memorize during weaving. Topics covered in the PDF: 1. historical background of the band 2. how to handle unstable tablets 3. which holes in your tablets are A, B, C and D 4. how does S and Z threading look like in these patterns 5. how to start your band 6. what to do when your warp accumulates too much twist 7. how to secure both ends of your woven band 8. threading diagrams and patterns If you have any problems with the file or spot an error, write me, I will gladly help :)
