Πολλές φορές με ρωτάτε σχετικά με το ντοσιέ μου με το οποίο οργανώνομαι. Μέχρι πριν λίγους μήνες, χρησιμοποιούσα ατζέντα ΚΑΙ το ντοσιέ, την πρώτη για να γράφω τις καθημερινές δουλειές μου και το δεύτερο για όλα τα υπόλοιπα. Είδα, όμως, ότι δεν μου ήταν καθόλου πρακτικό να έχω 2 ή περισσότερα σημεία αναφοράς. Έτσι, πειραματίστηκα και κατέληξα στο σύστημα αυτό, ένα control journal, όπως θα το ονόμαζε η FlyLady, ένα και μοναδικό σημείο αναφοράς, όπου μέσα έχω όλα όσα χρειάζομαι για να μένω οργανωμένη καθημερινά, εβδομαδιαία και μηναία! Το ντοσιέ μου το έχω χωρισμένο σε 3 μέρη, με βάση τη συχνότητα χρήσης των εγγράφων που έχω μέσα. Τον διαχωρισμό τον κάνω με χρωματιστά διαχωριστικά χαρτόνια Α4 για ντοσιέ (σαν αυτά). Μέρος 1ο: Εδώ βρίσκονται όσα χαρτιά χρησιμοποιώ συχνότερα, σε καθημερινή δηλαδή βάση. Μπροστά μπροστά έχω όλο τον τρέχοντα μήνα, ένα χαρτί που κόβω από την ατζέντα που χρησιμοποιούσα ως τώρα. Εκεί σημειώνω ραντεβού, γιορτές και άλλες υποχρεώσεις από το μεγάλο μηνιαίο οικογενειακό ημερολόγιο, που έχω κρεμασμένο πάνω από τον υπολογιστή. Επίσης, με post-it σημειώνω διάφορα to-dos που θέλω να τα κάνω μέσα στο μήνα αλλά δεν έχω κανονίσει ακόμα πότε. Το προφιτερόλ ας πούμε, είναι παραγγελία και πρέπει να γίνει ASAP! Έπειτα, πάλι από την ατζέντα μου, κάθε Κυριακή κόβω, τρυπάω και τοποθετώ τις ημέρες της ερχόμενης εβδομάδας κι εκεί γράφω το πρόγραμμα καθαριότητας της FlyLady (αν εγγραφείτε στο newsletter, σας το στέλνω κάθε Κυριακή προσαρμοσμένο), ραντεβού, εξωσχολικές δραστηριότητες και κάθε βράδυ τις δουλειές της επόμενης ημέρας. Παρακάτω, έχω 3 χαρτιά που ανανεώνω εβδομαδιαία: Την πρωινή και βραδινή μου ρουτίνα και το μενού της εβδομάδας. Το μενού το συντάσσω πλέον από Πέμπτη έως την επόμενη Τετάρτη, ώστε να ψωνίζω από το Σ/Μ την Πέμπτη. Αναζητήστε τα εκτυπώσιμα στην ψηφιακή βιβλιοθήκη για συνδρομητές. Στα σνακ φτιάχνω απλώς μια λίστα με οτιδήποτε μπορεί να φαγωθεί σαν σνακ! Παλιότερα, είχα όλα τα καθαρά εκτυπώσιμα σε μια θήκη διάφανη με κουμπί ΚΑΙ τρύπες, τις οποίες προμηθεύομαι από το Πλαίσιο (τις θήκες, όχι τις τρύπες). Αλλά επειδή αντικαθιστώ τα εκτυπώσιμα μόνο μια φορά την εβδομάδα, την έβγαλα και την τοποθέτησα στη βιβλιοθήκη μας. Ένα πράγμα λιγότερο μέσα στο ντοσιέ! Φαίνεται λίγο στην παρακάτω φωτογραφία. Την πίσω του πλευρά τη χρησιμοποιούσα για να κολλάω εκεί τα Post-it. Τώρα, τα Post it τα κολλάω σε ένα χαρτόνι που έχω τοποθετήσει με σελοτέιπ στη μέσα μεριά του εξωφύλλου, γιατί στο πλαστικό δεν κολλάνε καλά και όλο μου έπεφταν! Με post-it κολλάω πολλά και διάφορα, από ατάκες των παιδιών, ιδέες για βελτίωση των εκτυπώσιμων μου, διάφορες δουλειές που δεν έχω προγραμματίσει και διάφορα που μου έρχονται στο μυαλό και θέλω να σας γράψω στο newsletter. Το καλό με το ντοσιέ, είναι ότι μπορείς να προσθέσεις κι να αφαιρέσεις ό,τι θες, σε όποιο και από όποιο σημείο θες! Τρομερή ευελιξία! Πάντα μέσα στο συρτάρι του γραφείου μου, έχω ένα πακέτο φύλλα ντοσιέ και σε αυτά γράφω τη λίστα για το Σ/Μ, κρατάω σημειώσεις για μελλοντικές αναρτήσεις και ό,τι άλλο θέλω! Το να κάνω έναν σκελετό της ανάρτησης, μου εξοικονομεί τρομερό χρόνο και επίσης το κάνει ευκολότερο στα μάτια μου, γιατί πολλές φορές δυσκολεύομαι να γράψω μια ανάρτηση, γιατί δεν ξέρω από που να ξεκινήσω! Οι σημειώσεις μου για αυτή την ανάρτηση! Μέρος 2ο: Εδώ έχω χαρτιά που χρησιμοποιώ όχι κάθε μέρα, αλλά αρκετές φορές την εβδομάδα. Λίστες όπως για το σούπερ μάρκετ, για διάφορες άλλες αγορές, την bucket list της εκάστοτε εποχής, καθώς και άλλους στόχους & ερωτήσεις από βιβλία αυτοβελτίωσης, posts και podcasts. Ερωτήσεις από το βιβλίο "High Performance Habits". Μέρος 3ο: Εδώ έχω συγκεντρωμένα όλα τα χαρτιά που χρησιμοποιώ μεν εβδομαδιαία, αλλά τα κοιτάζω λιγότερες φορές από τα υπόλοιπα. Εδώ έχω τους ετήσιους στόχους μου, τις 50+50 θετικές φράσεις για να λέμε στα παιδιά της Άσπας, τη λίστα λεπτομερούς καθαριότητας για κάθε δωμάτιο (και αυτό βρίσκεται στην ψηφιακή βιβλιοθήκη), τον διαχωρισμό των ημερών σε διάφορες εργασίες της FlyLady (θα σας γράψω περισσότερα σε άλλη ανάρτηση), καθώς και κάποιο εποχικό εκτυπώσιμο οργάνωσης, όπως το "Ήρεμο Πάσχα" ή το "Ένα Επικό Party" (θα τα βρείτε και αυτά στην ψηφιακή βιβλιοθήκη). Βασικά εργαλεία για το ντοσιέ μου είναι ο διακορευτής, ο οποίος κάνει οποιοδήποτε χαρτί να περνά από τους κρίκους και τα χαρτάκια post-it διαφόρων χρωμάτων και μεγεθών, για να σημειώνω οτιδήποτε και να τα κολλάω στα αριστερά όπου σας έδειξα! Οι άσπρες καρτούλες είναι άλλο κεφάλαιο, θα σας γράψω αναλυτικά σε άλλη ανάρτηση! Επειδή το γραφείο μου είναι μικρό κι εκεί πάνω κάνω όλα μου τα διαβάσματα/γραψίματα/σημειώσεις/ραψίματα/φωτογραφήσεις/κολλήματα και πολλά άλλα, στην πίσω άκρη του γραφείου έχω μια πλαστική θήκη περιοδικών και εκεί μέσα τοποθετώ το ντοσιέ μου όταν δεν το χρησιμοποιώ. Μου αρέσει που είναι διαφανής η θήκη αυτή και δεν πιάνει καθόλου χώρο στο μάτι. Συνήθως, όμως, επειδή πολλές φορές μέσα στη μέρα σημειώνω τις ρουτίνες μου και τσεκάρω τις δουλειές της ημέρας, θα το βρει κανείς ανοιχτό πάνω στο γραφείο! Μαζεμένος χώρος εργασίας, #1 για την παραγωγικότητα! Αυτά είχα να σας πω! Σε μελλοντική ανάρτηση θα σας μιλήσω για το πως οργανώνω γενικότερα το γραφείο μου! Ως τότε, καλή οργάνωση!!!

On Friday I presented at the Early Childhood Education Conference. Those of you that joined me completed these 6 inchies representing art projects from my "I am Canadian" series. I had a great time and thanks to the ECEC committee for inviting me! One of my favourites is the Prairie Landscape which I also did with Grade 1/2 in my last residency. The large project looks like this. I had already podged it before photographing so sorry for the glare. Here is some of the student work. MATERIALS REQUIRED: - 12" x 12" piece of masonite or MDF, cardboard, or heavy paper - sky blue, brown, yellow, white, red or green, acrylic paint - sponge - piece of corrugated cardboard - chipboard or light cardboard from a cereal or cracker box - drywall medium - train clip art - green painter's masking tape - Mod podge - tacky glue PROCEDURE: For the substrate (base) I used 1/8" masonite. It's the same material I use to make my art boards. I have a 'father in law' with a woodshop so he is nice enough to prep all my wood for me. Thanks Hank! Home Depot sells masonite/MDF in 2' x 4' pieces now called builder cuts. Much easier to handle and relatively inexpensive. (my 12" x 12" board works out to 37 cents) You can also use cardboard or heavy paper (poster board) for this project. If working on paper you can easily substitute liquid tempera for the acrylic just don't add the Mod podge at the end. I taped off the horizon line for my students. This is Grade 1/2 so we learn a little chant before painting. "Paint, paint, when we hit the tape we STOP!" I get them to hold up their hands for stop. Paint in the sky with blue acrylic. We are working on top of wax paper. For the most part this works very well. Of course you always seem to have one that forgets about the tape…..sigh. Leave to dry, about 30 minutes. While our board is drying we will work on the grain elevator. For Grade1/2 I use a template. It's amazing how different they will still turn out to be because of scissor skills. We cut out our elevators out of thin cardboard or chipboard. Working on top of wax paper, add a layer of drywall medium to your grain elevator. I just have the kids use their finger to spread. Leave to dry, about 5 hrs or so. When my blue paint is dry I remove the green tape and move it so it is on the blue with the edge now on the unpainted part. (horizon line) Paint the bottom with brown acrylic paint. I take a piece of sponge and some white acrylic paint and sponge in some clouds. Using a piece of corrugated cardboard on it's end I add yellow paint. You want to still be able to see the brown background. When the drywall medium is dry you can paint your grain elevator. I gave the kids a choice of red or green. We added the Alberta Wheat Pool logo. You can adapt this to the logo of the wheat pool in your area. We also added a door made from black paper. I found a clip art train and we glued it and the grain elevator in place using tacky glue. If you are working on masonite, canvas, or cardboard you can add a coat of Mod podge to seal everything and get that nice shiny coat. That's it. Here's a page from the art journal. I'm having a tough time adapting this November. It seems winter just snuck up on us here in Calgary. We are supposed to have warmer weather in a few days to melt all that snow….thank goodness. To make this page I added some painted paper scraps to my background as well as a piece of textured wallpaper that I cut into a tree trunk shape. I added a quick coat of gesso. you can also use white acrylic or my new favourite art supply, plain white latex primer from the hardware store….a little thinner but still adds tooth to your surface and is erasable. (and did I mention CHEAP, I got a 7.4 litre can at WalMart for $10.00 on clearance) Paint in your background. I did a twilight scene…. with the end of daylight savings it seems so dark now and I'm still trying to get my head around that. Paint the tree black, add a few leaves that have not fallen yet. I also used some silver paper. A little glitter glue for the frost. For my text I used a white paint sharpie and a fine black sharpie. See you next time.
