Hello Ai fans! I have an acquaintance that recently saw some RN cards that I shared on my Facebook page. She has a niece that's graduating from nursing school at Penn State University and asked if I would replicate one of them in Penn State's blue and white colors. This was her favorite design, so here it is in blue and white. The stamps are all from 4899 – Proud Nurse Set. I also used the 5063 – Rectangle A2 Double Stitched Dies. The RN was cut using 5072 – Block Letters Die Set. I hope her niece enjoys the card. Nurses are so important to every last one of us. We need to show them that they're appreciated! Copics used: B28, B66, B95, C0, C3, C8, T4, E02, E21, E23, E25, E31, E39, E40, E51, E74

Hello everyone! I'm sneaking in a bonus post this month on the OCS blog... to share a couple of cards made with one of the sets from the popular Art Impressions Girlfriends line: Laughing Set: I wanted to keep them fairly flat for mailing, and also wanted to use up some scraps! I had already coloured up the images to match this paper pack, and here's what I had sitting on my craft desk, leftover from previous projects: Bits and pieces! I was determined not to cut into any new sheets, so here's what I came up with: Lora has a FABULOUS assortment of Art Impressions stamps in the One Crazy Stamper store... you can see them all here. And wait until you see the newest release! You can preorder them here. Copics used: Skin - E11, E00, E000, R20 Hair - Y21, Y23, Y26, E55, E53, E51 Greys - W5, W3, W1 Reds - R24, R22, R20 Greens - G46, G43, G41 Golds - Y26, Y23, Y21
< Hello Ai fans! I used the Proud Nurse stamp set for this snarky card. I plan to use this as a get well card, but this image could be used for many occasions. I started by stamping the images onto Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth card stock with Gina K Black Amalgam ink and colored them with Copic markers. The colors I used will be listed at the end of this post. I then cut the images out with Cutterbee scissors and set them aside. I stamped the greeting onto a thin strip of white card stock using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. I started with a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" Spectrum Noir Card stock and stamped the cross, syringe, stethoscope & bandaid randomly around the outside of the paper with Gina K Amalgam ink. I then colored them in with Copic Markers. I then attached it to an A2 card. I layered a white card stock oval. I colored the oval with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink and layered it to the center of the card with foam tape. I then cut the greeting with the smallest oval and attached it to the oval. I also added the nurse with foam squares. Copic Colors Used: Skin - E11, E00, E000 Scrubs - B95, B93. B91 Grey - C3, C1 Red - R27, R05 Tan - E35, E33, E31 Thanks for stopping by and Have a Great Day!

Today's card is for my mom's birthday. We actually celebrated it today with my dad's. One is in July the other in August, so it's easier to do them together, so everyone came over for some lunch and cake. I'm using the Art Impressions stamp set called "Fire Out". I colored her with Copics, added some Glossy Accents to the glasses & Stickles to the pompom on her party hat. The papers were from DCWV The Birthday Wishes Stack and the banner was cut using the Ribbon Banner from Simon Says Stamp. I am entering this card in the following challenges: Art Impressions Blog - Big Birthdays Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Spots & Dots Have a great week...

Please click HERE if you are joining Meljen's 200th Challenge Blog Hop Celebraton. Thanks for stopping by today. I hope everyone is having a great weekend! Art Impressions has been around for a long time. I just recently rediscovered them while shopping at my LSS (Stamp Attic) one day last year and came across one of their adorable, humorous stamp sets. It's all been "down hill" from there! This week's Art Impressions challenge is Sheer Perfection - using vellum with our Art Impressions project. I have a folder full of vellum and knew right away that it would work perfectly as the background for the Pedal Pushers girlfriends! For my project, I used a sheet of blue vellum and dry embossed it with a Stampin' Up cloud folder. I cut a separate sloping panel of Amuse gingham card stock for the grassy hill. The images was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut then applied with dimension tape. Thanks for stopping by! I always enjoy reading your comments.
Today's card is one we did in our card group at Barb's. It's a cute one! This is the stamp set she had us use: She provided everything in the kit. All we had to do was stamp and color the nurse and stamp the sentiment. For the inside, I printed a free sentiment I found on the internet. That cracked me up and I thought it went perfectly with the front. Tuesday Throwdown has an Anything Goes Challenge #446 sponsored by Power Poppy today. I don't have any Power Poppy stamps, but I sure would like to win one! Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you'll be back tomorrow.

"Stitch it Up" is this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge theme. I stitched together a book using the Sizzix Traveler's Notebook die set. A great way to paint a white piece of paper quickly and easily is to use a large gel printing plate. I dripped and drizzled acrylic paint onto my 8" x 10" gel plate and transferred the paint onto a big piece of Strathmore Mixed Media paper. Here's what the gel print looked like: When the paint was dry, I cut out two covers for my book using the Sizzix Traveler's Notebook die and my Sizzix Big Shot. I added a little more white paint to tone things down. I also cut out the pages for my book using some old "ledger" patterned paper that I had in my stash. These are all folded in half. I decorated my cover and then sewed my cover pieces together using the spine-shaped die that I also cut out of my gel-printed paper. I sewed my pages down the spine and attached them to my cover like so: I had used a stamp from Inky Antics' Big Houses set as the focal point and added some yellow and pink from watercolors. To finish it off, I added some fabric scraps and some paper pieces along the top and sides. Here are the supplies I used that you can find at Simon Says Stamp: Inky Antics Big Houses stamp set Sizzix Travelers Notebook Inserts die set Sizzix Big Shot Jane Davenport Acrylic Paint set Daniel Smith Opera Pink Extra Fine Watercolor Gelliarts Large Gel Plate (8x10) Speedball 4 Paint Brayer Dina Wakley White acrylic paint Dina Wakley Night acrylic paint Dina Wakley Lime acrylic paint Dina Wakley Lapis acrylic paint Ranger Jet Black Archival ink Hero Arts Heat Tool Dina Wakley Small Journal Clips I can't wait to see what you do with this week's challenge theme!
