Earthworms are such fascinating creatures, not to mention being a gardener's best friend! This is a 12" x 18" poster of a few different types of earthworms along with a bit of anatomy. It has been professionally printed onto lovely matte 100 lb card stock and initialed and dated on the reverse. The generous top and bottom margins are perfect for framing using a wooden poster hanger (which also makes it very easy to change out posters every now and then). This listing does NOT include the wooden, magnetic poster hanger used in the photo. Your poster will be carefully packaged in a kraft tube for mailing. ★★ Frame not included ★★ I do my best to portray colors accurately, however different monitors (and cameras) will vary in how they display colors. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SIGN UP FOR OUR NEWSLETTER AND GET 10% OFF: https://twigandmoth.myflodesk.com/newsletter ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ***Purchase does not transfer copyright. We've all been in the horrific situation where our trusty sidekick a.k.a. smartphone disappears. The moment we figure out that it's gone, a hasty search begins and nothing else really matter until our faithful amigo is back in our pocket. If you are lucky enough, it turns out that you've just left it unattended somewhere in your house and if you are less fortunate, the comrade might be brought back to you by police. In the case where you get it back, you'd probably want to make sure if it still works, if nobody had made any weird calls or have sent suspicious text messages and lastly, you'd probably check your photo gallery. Upon checking it, you might just get shocked, as it turns out your crony has been on ridiculous adventures, with some hilarious pictures as proof.
A highlight installation of the London Festival of Architecture 2018 ‘Identity’, The Building Site brings a section of secluded Lithuanian forest in front of St Paul’s Cathedral. I'm a landscape architect and an artist, Sigita Simona Paplauskaite, and I've designed an immersive environment that seeks to question the rapid urban development and its impact on the human relationship with nature. Open during London Festival of Architecture, The Building Site addressed the growing concern around the changing ownership of public space in London and invited its visitors to reflect on the consequences of urbanization on local communities and natural ecosystems.
Getting more and more accustomed to casual drone photography I've started experimenting with some unusual effects. What I did is bought 3 quite cheap filters, removed the filter rings and attached filter glass to the drone lens. This brought me some unusual images as well as videos.
Had a bit of a mermaid fever the last month so I decided to explore stories about them. Some scenes were inspired by Disney's The Little Mermaid while others are how I imagined what a mermaid's life would be. This series had me photographing different fishtail positions and had me exploring a lot of beach scenery.
A year ago we have decided to take a stroll on the roof of Europe. To go on an adventure to circumvent Mont Blanc! The stroll took us through 3 different countries- France, Italy and Switzerland. It allowed us to rever the alps from different angles.

If you're scared of heights then you might want to look away now, because this walkway in China is your worst nightmare come true. The fact that it's attached 4,600ft up the side of a mountain is scary enough, but the fact that it's also made of glass is nothing short of terrifying.
Hi, my name is Romain Jacquet-Lagrèze, I'm a photographer from France. "Concrete stories" is a collection of genuine instants from the daily life of Hong Kong's inhabitants on the city's rooftop. All the photos are non-staged and I had to wait for the very right moment in order to capture them and show the vernacular culture of people living in such an extremely urbanised environment.
MFW: ADVENTURES IN U.S. HISTORY It's been awhile since I've posted anything or even wrote on the blog. We finished with MFW: Learning God...
I was recently commissioned to do an entomological illustration of the Seven-spotted ladybird Coccinella septempunctata for a birthday gift. Gathering reference As always, the first step is to assemble your reference. I use as wide of a range of reference as I can; this decreases the chance of “copying” mistakes, and helps show the main features to […]

The world is a mysterious place with so many vibrant and varying cultures. However, in this day and age, when everything is controlled by technology, it is easy to contact anyone from anywhere in the world. With over 7 billion people on this earth, there are still some tribes that do not support nor understand our modern living ways, and their secluded lives remain untouched. Despite all of this, one human trait remains the same, and it is the need to explore and unravel the unknown. So it only makes sense that humans sometimes do all they can to contact the most isolated tribes in the world, just to see how different they are from us.
John Hancock, former president of United States Congress, has arguably one of the most famous signatures around. As the first signer of the Declaration of Independence, he led the charge for what was considered treason against the king. Popular history writes that he wrote his name in such large letters so that "The fat old king could read it without his spectacles." Because of his bravery, hand lettering signatures are now often referred to as a ‘John Hancock.’
Claude Cahun, Vivian Maier, and Any Warhol, photographers throughout history have captured their essences in some pretty eccentric self-portraits - but the weather camera self-portrait project by Finnish photographer Tatu Gustafsson has re-invented this genre in an eerie new way.
I am such a big geek for everything retro: retro style, retro design, and retro clothing. So during our trip to Savanna, Georgia it was natural to me to turn our romantic trip into a retro photo session with streets of Savanna as my ultimate background. I never told my husband that I packed an extra outfit “from last century”, and a suitcase full of photo equipment.
Gyumri, the second city of Armenia. After an earthquake in 1988, thousands of people were left without their homes, friends, families, hope. After years, some of them got small homes called domik.
If you ever had the misfortune of texting the wrong number, you know how embarrassing it can be. Although most people have the courtesy of letting the careless senders know that they've made a mistake, some are not so nice. This is exactly what happened to a guy named Jon, who thought he was texting a girl named Lynn.
George RR Martin, being a skilled writer, knows how to keep his fans on their toes when going about all this Game of Thrones business. With the TV shows' and novels' plots highly differing from one another, nobody really knows what to expect from this epics' ending. The wait is almost over now, as HBO recently announced that the show's final season would air in April 2019, with only six episodes to finish off the fantastic journey. However, while we wait for the chance to meet the Game of Thrones characters for one last time, what better way to spend your days than recall and appreciate what's already been done by our favorite popular actors? With many lists and funny memes out of the way, we can all collectively move on to more factual information. And sure enough, Got interesting facts are aplenty!
When I began traveling full-time 5 years ago, it was simply a fun thing to do... it was interesting to explore the cultures I hadn't heard of, go on breath-taking adventures and make new friends.
The idea of this article came from a recent photo series I saw on BoredPanda about viral photos people thought were real but were fake. It reminded me of some of my photos people always call fake. People online judge you really easily.

Create a Leaf and Bark Journal I ordered some blank books in advance of this project, but you could easily do this on paper. Autumn is the perfect time of year to do this in the northeast! We gathered leaves for rubbings from our immediate neighborhood and did bark rubbings while we were out walking around, labeling the bark rubbings if we knew the kind of tree. What you need: loose paper blank book (optional) crayons glue stick scissors leaf morphology chart (optional) Decorate your Leaf and Bark Journal I found some beautiful leaf stickers on sale at Michaels (don't forget your teacher or homeschooler discount, too!) and had the kids decorate their books: We then went outside, finding many of our leaves right in our own yard. We did our bark rubbings, noting the difference between the young and old trees, and we collected our leaves. Use a Leaf Chart We brought our laminated leaf morphology chart to identify the types of leaves we found: When we brought the leaves in we started rubbing and cutting them out to fit in our books, leaf on left, bark on right: Another one: I really enjoyed this activity and we plan to keep adding to it or start another one when it is full. You could also try pressing the leaves or laminating them to save them. Kick this Activity up a Notch If you have older kids, they will still enjoy this activity, but why not take it a step further? Ideas of topics to discuss: Tree life cycle Where do the leaves go after they fall? Why do trees have bark? What is its function? What do leaves do? What do you notice about the types of trees that grow where you live? How are they different from trees that grow in other climates? Why?
