Hardware emulating the Classic HP Calculators Build a fun, educational easy to build calculator. Features: All Through Hole parts. (easy to handle and solder) Runs about 4 to 5 times faster than the original (voyager series). Memory registers: same memory as the original. Continuous memory (Memory is not lost when calculator is turn off). Auto power off Runs on a single ATMEGA328 8 bit microcontroller running @ 8MHz (same as Arduino Uno) Speaker for audible keypress feedback 192x64 lcd display Display Backlight Has a real time clock. (Uses a 32.768KHz crystal) Uses a single CR2032 3V battery. Power consumption: 1µA off, 350µA idle, 3mA working (this is with speaker and backlight off) Can run any of the Voyager series and HP41C calculators, with the appropriate firmware. In programming mode, the names of the keys are displayed on the header of the display. It's a bit smaller than the original - 4.2" x 2.67" (10.668 x 6.7818 cm). More info at voyager. Oh so adorable, this is the tiniest little lipo charger, so handy you can keep it any project box! Its also easy to use. Simply plug in the gold plated contacts into any USB port and a 3.7V/4.2V lithium polymer or lithium ion rechargeable battery into the JST plug on the other end. There are two LEDs - one red and one green. While charging, the red LED is lit. When the battery is fully charged and ready for use, the green LED turns on. Seriously, it could not get more easy.Charging is performed in three stages: first a preconditioning charge, then a constant-current fast charge and finally a constant-voltage trickle charge to keep the battery topped-up. The charge current is 100mA by default, so it will work with any size battery and USB port. If you want you can easily change it over to 500mA mode by moving the slide switch on the top over to "High / 500mA" mode, for when you'll only be charging batteries with 500mAh size or larger. For use with Adafruit LiPoly/LiIon batteries only! Other batteries may have different voltage, chemistry, polarity or pinout.
