Rare Josef Albers print titled "Prefatio" (Preface). Lithograph on Serir Whitewove paper, 1942. Full margins. Signed, dated, titled and numbered 12/30 in pencil, lower margin. From Graphic Tectonics. A very good impression of this scarce print. With some toning and foxing to sheet. Graphic Tectonics were made after a series of drawings that Albers made while teaching at Harvard University's Graphic Design School in 1941. They were intended to challenge perceived notions of drawing with their precision and uniformity.
