These digital plans and instructions will help you to build your own DIY Joystick for your MAME Arcade Cabinet project. The document includes figures, drawings, templates and written instructions to guide you while building the arcade joystick enclosure. With a few basic tools and some ambition, anyone can make this joystick. The size and style is based on the X Arcade Tankstick. Basic wiring instructions are provided but will vary on the specific model USB controller used. Several button layout templates are included: the X Arcade Tankstick, X Arcade Dual, Sanwa, diamond, NeoGeo MVS and Street Fighter layouts. The plans specify 16mm (5/8 inch) material, as that is the thickness used for the X-Arcade. However, anything from 12 to 18mm (1/2 to 3/4 inch) can be used as the material thickness is mostly inconsequential. The file format is PDF so you can print it or view it on any device. A DXF file is not included. This is a digital download and no physical product will be sent. After paying, Etsy will send you a link where you can instantly download the item you purchased. These plans are for personal use only, you may not in any way resell this product, the digital design or image. Due to the electronic nature of this item, refunds are not offered. Please read the item descriptions carefully prior to completing a purchase. REVISION HISTORY: v5 - May 2020 - added Japan 8-button layout. Clarified the front/rear panel diagrams. Added trackpad information. Corrected some formatting errors.
