Antumbra is a marble / metal lamp with touch dimmer. Antumbra is created for the visual beauty, but comes alive through the touch of the hands. By caressing the stone, it is possible to raise or lower the light. With no visible switch or dimmer, the lamp features a technology that allows the intensity of the light to be adjusted, and turned on or off, with a more or less prolonged touch of the hand. The design is conceived to obtain a luminous effect which, seen from the front, recalls an eclipse in which the halo of light draws the silhouette of the dark marble occluding the LED, but which inside a room, thanks to the white marble component at the back which reflects and diffuses light, is able to create intimate and suggestive atmospheres. When switched off, Antumbra becomes a sculptural complement that enriches the space.Antumbra is available in White Carrara marble, Imperial green and brass details or in White Carrara, Marquina Black and black metal.

This is a brand new build of a Antumbra Cara, which is a micro version of Mutable Instruments Marbles. It retains all of the functionality of the original but takes up less space (10HP) than the original Marbles (18HP).Comes with jack lights that can be disabled via a jumper on the back. These modules use tall bushing potentiometers to offer a more stable feel. You can see the difference in the last picture. You will feel much less wiggle with the tall bushing (left) than with traditional trimmer style (right). The module is fully assembled, tested, and calibrated.
