Caseing the Catty CTC484, Stampin Up Annual Catalogue, Changing Leaves bundle, Watercolouring, card with autumn leaves
Hello stamping friends. Thank you for joining me on my blog today. I hope that you've had a fantastic week and are having fabulous day! Today I'm participating in a blog hop for the CASE-ing the Catty Design Team, to kick off the new challenge for the week. If you come here from Kathryn Mangelsdorf's blog welcome, if you've started here with me also welcome. We are about CASE-ing the samples from the Stampin' Up! Catalogues with a different theme to CASE each week. To CASE is to Copy And Selectively Edit. This week we are CASE-ing any project in the 2024 - 2025 Annual Catalogue. I was drawn to this gorgeous sample from the Annual catalogue that uses the Cutest Onesie Bundle found on on pg. 64. It's one of those samples that sometimes "If you blink you'll miss it" but I loved the design of it and thought it was perfect to CASE. I thought this little 3"x 3" card/gift tag/ gift card would be perfect to use with some of the new products that I've just recieved in my Sept-Dec Mini Catalogue preorder. I've created these 4 3"x 3" card/gift tag/ gift cards using the new A Little Bit Festive Specialty Designer Series Paper, the Mix & Match Ephemera, and the Reindeer Days Memories & More Card Pack from the up coming 2024 Sept-Dec Holiday Catalogue. So another sneak peek for you all. These three products all have similar colours and all work so well when used together. I'm loving these products! They make for fun, easy and quick crafting with your own personal touch. All four cards have kept the same design as the original sample with the use of the different DSP patterns and the Stylish Shapes circle embossed with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder (also from the 2024 Sept-Dec Mini Catalogue) and then it was just a matter of changing up the pre-cut pieces to coordinate with the colours in each DSP pattern. Each card is then finished off with various ribbon, trim and embellishments. I've used some new ones from the new Mini Catalogue like the Pool Party Pompom Ribbon and the Drusy Adhesive-Backed Embellishments and used some trusty old faithful trims like Linen Thread and Black & Very Vanilla Large Check Ribbon from the Annual Catalogue. I hope I've inspired you with my CASE of an Annual Catalogue sample. Be sure to look at each and every sample in the Annual Catalogue as even the smallest of projects may help you with your creative ideas. There are lots of AMAZING creations from the rest of the CASE-ing the Catty Crew so be sure to make your way around the whole hop to get inspiration from the CTC team. Next up on the hop is the lovely Rebecca Scurr with her fabulous creation. Julia Quinn Kathryn Mangelsdorf Rochelle Blok - You are here Rebecca Scurr Peta Stephen Rachel Palmieri Rochelle Laird-Smith Monique Fielder We would love to have you join us over at our Facebook group to share your creation CASE-ing a project from the 2024 - 2025 Stampin' Up! Hierbij alle kaarten nog even apart. Zelfde idee, andere indeling. This is where I find myself. Since September I have been dealing with “something.” I had no idea what that “something”was when I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. It is some type of inflammatory arthritis. My tests suggest I have drug induce lupus and / or sero-negative rheumatoid arthritis. I am feeling better. I no longer take the medication that could be causing the issue. I am taking a medication to help relieve other symptoms. The most difficult symptom for me to handle is the extreme fatigue. I needed to make a few life changes. One of those changes is giving up my Stampin’ Up! demonstratorship. Being a demonstrator is not difficult and I have enjoyed the past ten years with Stampin’ Up! I just need to simplify my life as much as possible. So, as of 1 May I will no longer be a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. So, what does that mean for my You Tube Channel and this blog? My plan is to continue with this blog and continue making videos. My videos will switch focus from Stampin’ Up! products to a focus on card layouts, techniques, and encouraging all of us to use what we have to create spectacular cards. I will still use Stampin’ Up! products for the most part. Some products will be retired, but because the focus will be more on layouts and techniques you will be able to create your own versions of the sample cards by using the supplies you have on hand. I want to thank everyone who has supported me through my Stampin’ Up! journey. I appreciate you all so much. I hope you will join me as I go off in this new direction! Thank you for stopping by. Until next time . . . Stamp Happy! Kim All stamps and stamped images ©️1990 - 2024 Stampin’ Up!®️

Welcome to a Week 17 of the Colour Creations Showcase blog hop. This week we continue our journey through the remaining Stampin' Up! core colours, working in alphabetical order, with this week's feature colour being Cherry Cobbler. Cherry Cobbler is a member of the Regals group of colours and is classified as a Red Violet colour. As Cherry Cobbler is a red colour and commonly used in Christmas creations that is what I have gone with too. My preorder has finally arrived and this week I have had fun playing with one of the new bundles from the Upcoming Mini Catalogue, the very cute Reindeer Fun. Cherry Cobbler has been teamed with Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake. To start with a piece of Very Vanilla card has been stamped using Crumb Cake ink and the star stamp from Reindeer Fun. It was then embossed using the Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder and then die cut using the circular die from the Reindeer Fun dies. This has been adhered to a piece of soon to be released Splendid Autumn paper featuring Cherry Cobbler. The cute little Reindeer, also from /reindeer Fun, has been stamped in Early Espresso and then coloured using Crumb Cake Stampin Blends. It was then die cut. The bridle has been stamped using Cherry Cobbler ink. Although hard to tell from the original photo, the sentiment, from Greetings Of the Season has been embossed in gold and then die cut using one of the Nested Essentials dies. Finally a few Gold Blooming Pearls have been added for that bit of Christmas bling. The inside has been kept very simple by just stamping the bells from Reindeer Fun and colouring them with Cherry Cobbler and Wild Wheat Stampin Blends and then die cutting them. I wish that Stampin Up would have Gold and Silver blends. Next in tonight's blog hop is the lovely Vicki Boucher. I look forward to seeing her lovely creation this week. If the "next" button link is not working or you would like to see a full list of participants then you can hop over to our host Cathy Proctor where you can see a full list of tonight's participants. As always if you live in Australia and would like to know more about Stampin' Up! or would like to purchase some of the products then click on the Facebook tab at the top of the page and send me a message. As always enjoy your week.Theresa
Hello friends! I'm sharing a FREE Card Class this first Saturday in June, 6/1/2024. This month I'm sharing the Sweet Peas stamp set from Stampin' Up! I fell in love with this adorable imagery the minute I saw this set and knew I'd want to create a class around it.Sometimes, stamp sets with smaller images can be more difficult to use in design. In this class, I'm going to share a couple of ways to work with smaller images to give them the spotlight they deserve and make your card designs shine!Y
