Title: Nan Sherwood's Winter Holidays Author/Editor: Annie Roe Carr Publisher: The World Syndicate Publishing Co Date: 1916 Condition: Good. No writing. Clean pages. Binding: Green Cloth Bound No Dust Jacket A beautiful and charming children's book! In this third installation of the series (7 in total) Nan spends her winter vacation in Chicago. During this time she encounters adventure and mystery! If you like the Bobbsey Twins, Nancy Drew, and other teen mystery series you will love Nan Sherwood. A girl detective whose kindness and bravery always help her to triumph in the end. books that are kind, humble, and thoughtful! Paper pages are a bit fragile from being loved. Book is in good condition with some wear and love throughout. A great read as well as a nice addition to a rainbow bookshelf as it is a lovely shade of green. My favorite part of this book is how Nan is written like a less poetic Anne of Green Gables. She's got all the charm and affectation of Anne, but with more a more jumpy plot.
