Whether it be the digital age that's taken the ambrotype away or simply the tedious process that it requires, they definitely seem to have disappeared in the past decade or so, but that still hasn't stopped us photography nerds from getting to know more about this incredible photography process.

This unique one of a kind set includes three antique photographs, two daguerreotypes and one ambrotype, each beautifully encased in intricately designed leather-bound cases. The photographs capture portraits of individuals from the mid-19th century, showcasing the rich history and craftsmanship of early photographic processes. 1. Photograph 1 (Daguerreotype): Features a stern-looking elderly couple, the man in a formal suit with a bow tie and the woman in a bonnet and shawl, reflecting the fashion of the era. 3.5”x3” 2. Photograph 2 (Ambrotype): Displays a portrait of an elderly woman, dressed in traditional clothing, with a serious expression that adds to the mystique of the era. 3”x 2” 3. Photograph 3 (Daguerreotype): Shows a younger woman with a more neutral expression, her attire suggesting a slightly more modern style compared to the other subjects. 3.5”x3.5” Each photograph is mounted in a decorative frame, with the cases showing some signs of wear consistent with their age, adding to the authentic antique appeal. The cases have detailed embossed designs on the exterior and velvet lining on the interior, offering a glimpse into the elegance of 19th-century craftsmanship. The leather on the cases has a rich patina, indicative of their historical value.
