Hello everyone! I am so excited to be a part of Altenew March 2019 Stamp/Die/Stencil/Ink Release Blog Hop today! You should have come from amazing Erum Tasneem, but if not please start at the Altenew blog. My first card featuring absolutley gorgeous Wallpaper Art stamp set. I've started by stamping the images with Antique Linen distress ink onto piece of watercolor paper. I watercolored the flowers using peachy pink paint and the leaves with blue-green mixed with sepia. Once my coloring was done, I die cutting the images with coordinating dies. For my background, I blended Forest Glades and Minty Mint Altenew inks onto watercolor paper, splattered it with the same inks and silver paint. Next, I adhered the flowers on top of my panel with foam tape and mounted my card onto light grey card base. I white heat embossed the sentiment onto tiny stripe of black cardstock andfinished my card with clear sequins. My second card featuring Watercolor Doodles and Versatile Vases stamp sets. I started by stamping the vase and the flowers with clear embossing ink onto kraft panel. Then, I colored this with Polychromos pencils. After I finished my coloring, I added the highlights with white gel pen and white gouache. I white heat embossed the sentiment on top of the flowers and finished my card clear sequins. For my last card I used Bold Bunch stamp set. I stamped the flowers and the leaves with Altenew inks and die cutting with coordinating dies. For the background, I blended Aqualicious and Dew Drops Altenew inks onto white piece of cardstock and splattered with the same inks and white paint. I adhered the flowers and the leaves onto my card with foam tape and stamped the sentiment with black inks. Hope you liked my cards! Don't forget to leave a comment for a prizes and a giveaway. Hello, friends! I'm really excited to show you today's series of cards! I absolutely fell in love with the Altenew Wallpaper Art set and have experimented with it quite a bit lately. Let's get started! With my first card I decided to do no-line watercoloring. I stamped the flower with Distress Ink Antique Linen then masked it with Inkadinkado Masking Paper before stamping the leaves with Memento Pear Tart on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper. I used Zigs to color up the Altenew Wallpaper Art images, using deeper shades along the edges for good definition. When I watercolored the leaves, I discovered that the Memento ink resisted blending so it took more effort but turned out a treat. I bet Distress Oxide would have worked well too. I added shading around the image then stamped the Clearly Besotted sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black. I then added black detail to the petals using Copic 100. I added further detail to the petals and leaves using Derwent Inktense Pencils. What a difference between the in-progress and final project pics, huh? These next versions cannot be any simpler. The one above is stamped with Versafine Onyx Black. That's it. One layer, elegant, and clean. This one is made a bit more frou using tone on tone stamping (Catherine Pooler All That Jazz) and a bit of gold washi. I prefer the black and white one; how about you?
