This is a listing for a set of three prayer cards reading "Amen," "Alleluia," and "Hosanna" - perfect for use at home or in a classroom. Originally commissioned for a Catechesis of the Good Shepherd atrium (level 1), they are a wonderful and beautiful way to incorporate these three important words into your teaching, praying, or decorating with artwork and hand-lettering inspired by the intricate borders of medieval and Renaissance manuscripts. Cards are 4x6" and are professionally printed on 60lb linen paper. Lamination available! This is a great option if these cards will be frequently handled; laminated cards are sturdy and waterproof and can be wiped clean. Please note that the margins of the thermal lamination sheets will add to the dimensions (4.3" x 6.3"), so laminated cards may not fit in a standard 4x6 frame like the unlaminated versions. The word “Alleluia” is an expression of joy which is why it is dropped from the liturgy completely during Lent, until the Easter vigil. Prior to Ash Wednesday, print out this coloring page for your children to color, paint, or decorate as they see fit. As a family, you can then head out to the backyard, sing an alleluia hymn. Then proceed to roll up your Alleluia coloring page(s), place it in a gallon size ziplock bag or a box, say a prayer of farewell and bury it!
