This Marry Me Tofu is my take on the VIRAL chicken recipe that we've all been seeing on social media lately! It's super easy to make and comes together all in ONE SKILLET which I love it for.
Skip the meat and go lighter with this yummy pad see ew recipe!
Crispy bite sized pieces of tender cauliflower coated in a panko and parmesan crust seasoned with a creole/cajun spice mix that is so addictive that you will never reach for that bag of microwave popcorn again!
The most important meal of the day just got a healthy summer makeover.
Pad See Ew, a Thai dish of stir-fried wide rice noodles with Chinese broccoli, egg, and beef, is a popular Thai street food that you can also make at home!
The original version of these tortillas are already taking over my Instagram account. It’s thrilling to see someone new each day make these pliable gluten free tortillas, post a photo of them, tag me, and I get to see their excitement over the fact that they can eat tacos again. Honestly, I feel like it’s...Read More
Recipe video above. This is a wildly popular raw Broccoli Salad by Melissa Clark of the New York Times. The red wine vinegar lightly "cooks" the broccoli so it's not as hard as plain raw broccoli, then it's marinated in an intensely flavoured cumin, garlic and sesame infused olive oil. It is unexpectedly good, it's unique, and I keep making it so I wanted to share the recipe. Not a fan of raw broccoli? This probably isn't the dish to convert you, I'll admit. Try instead just lightly steaming the broccoli - it's really worth making just for the dressing!
Hi – (click on a picture to enlarge) - I'm recovering after a hip replacement and would like to share some pictures of our allotment from the last few years. Last year - with work commitments and the weather against us, we weren't able to get done much at all... it really was all a bit of a washout. There are approx 40 plots on our site, just nice, it's surrounded on all sides with back gardens and you can't see it from the entrance so we get very little trouble from veggie burglars. I've cut the main grass here for a few years and yet people still wang rocks on there... so I cut high and it's been enough to stop someone coming in with a sprayer. But we love our allotment and the time can just fly by. Our first plot was 20ft x 100ft -- the first thing we did was to put up four reinforced pallet bins, bolted together, one 6x4 and three 4x4. We fill the big one first, then turn this into the next one, then the next one until the last turn goes through a stout wooden…
A classic vegan veggie burger is a super healthy alternative to beef, and so easy to make!
Cauliflower rice is a versatile and healthy side dish, and this is my favorite way to cook it. We kick up the flavor with butter, fresh herbs, lemon juice, and garlic. I love stirring in roasted sliced almonds for extra crunch and texture. You can leave these out or substitute other nuts or seeds. This recipe is gluten-free, keto-friendly, low-carb, and if you substitute the butter for olive oil, it is vegan and plant-based.
Zucchini flowers are a problem for me. If I see them for sale, I just can’t seem to walk past them without buying them. The problem is not really the excessive purchasing, but instead the fact that they taste wonderful stuffed and deep fried. All that deep frying is not healthy for an individual, so […]
This is a great dish for an easy weeknight dinner, or potluck. This pasta tastes just like the classic dip, but disguised as dinner.
All Seeing Lemon: This is a piece from my new collection I'm working on of weird fruit and veggies.
The perfect vegan centrepiece main dish for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or any holiday. Stuffed with super flavourful wild rice, cranberries, walnuts, and sage filling. Can be made up to 3 days ahead of time and warmed up before serving. Gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, dairy free.
Gardening is a joy; there’s no denying it. I love walking barefoot along the sun-warmed paths of my garden, nibbling on a green bean or two, tucking a few tomatoes in my basket, and pulling
Last week I threw a little tapas dinner party and it was sooo much fun. Not to mention, utterly delicious! Stewed Okra and Tomatoes is such a delicious dish and is literally exploding with flavor. An all-time favorite! Great on a holiday table, too!
Of all the crispy, crunchy, irresistible fried delicacies in this world, I think I probably love Fried Zucchini the best, but now I think that might just be because I hadn’t happened upon Fried Asparagus quite yet. See, asparagus is my favorite vegetable and this recipe takes those bright green spears and brings them to […]
State testing is major for us as I am sure it is for many teachers across the country. If I can't get rid of it, I might as well try and get the kids excited and encouraged for it, right? This bulletin board turned out super cute. Adorable root vegetables with names and all you see in the pictures (...
I absolutely love pad thai, and making this at home always leaves me reminiscing about trips to Thailand. I made my own vegan fish sauce to use for this recipe and coat the noodles in a deliciously sweet and savory sauce. I made this dish with tofu for protein, added crunch from bean sprouts and peanuts, tang from lime and an extra kick of spice from chili powder!
The oven does all the work for you.
This dish packs a hearty dose of veggies and all the cheesy goodness that you look for in a casserole.
