Végül mégis sikerült neki is elkészíteni a kis rajzait. Ilyen alkotások születtek. (A fotón vegyesen láthatóak az elsősök és másodikosok rajzai.) Ha tetszik az ötlet, készítsétek el Ti is! Jó kreatívkodást!

I am getting ready for my preschool open house. I thought this would be cute to send home or possibly do as a center in class to display for the first month of school. Here is a cute All about Me Banner I downloaded for free from www.teachersnotebook.com http://www.teachersnotebook.com/product/lola/all-about-me-pennant-freebie
Hello Friends! Besides working on the set up in my classroom, I am also thinking about the first few weeks of school. My kiddos drop in before school starts and besides giving them a special gift from me, I also ask them to fill out an "All About Me" poster that they take home and fill out with their parents. There are several types that can be purchased and I HAVE purchased them. The problem I have with some of the purchased ones is that they are too large and have too much information on them for a kinder to fill out. I like to display these in the hallway for our Open House and the poster sized ones just take up too much room. So.... I created a one page 8 1/2" x 11" poster that is easy for little ones to do. I have a variety of 12" x 12" scrapbook paper available for them to choose from. I staple the poster to the scrapbook paper and send it home. Adding the poster to the scrapbook paper creates more space for those that want to do more such as adding photographs. To access this free poster, click the image above or below. This is a Google doc download. If your school does not allow downloads from outside your network, you will have to download at home. I also like to do an "All About Me" book with my kinders at the start of the year. But just as with the posters, I have found many "Me" books to be overwhelming to little ones just beginning school. So I have them do a simple "All About Me" book that is easy for them to finish and also continues the tradition of having a beginning of the year keepsake. Find this simple book by clicking the image above or below. Until next time! Blessings,

During the first month of preschool, we focus on learning about and appreciating our differences and uniqueness. We learn about ourselves, our friends, our families. As a "getting to know you" project, I send this take home project home with my students. When they come back completed, we spend the last 10 minutes of the day allowing students to present their project to the class until everyone has taken their turn. This is a great way for the class to get to know each other and a great bonding experience while they work on the project at home with family members. Provide each child with a paper cut out of a person. I included t-shirts as well. Instructions were included to decorate the cut out with the child's favorite things. Here are some of the projects from last year. I love how unique each one is. Just like each child!

Blast off into the first week of school with this space-themed all about me foldable activity, designed to help you get to know your students. This printable resource is a fun alternative to a standard all about me worksheet. It is suitable for classroom use as part of your back-to-school activities, or send home as a transition activity over the summer break. In this set, each foldout displays a different letter so that students can complete one that matches their first initial. The inner section has meaningful questions on an outer space theme. The prompts Captain...... (children insert their name here) Age Things I love to the moon and back I'm a star at.... (for children to tell you what they are good at) My mission is to get better at... (for children to let you know areas that they might need extra help and support). Low prep! Print the pages you need on letter-sized paper (landscape). Students color the space scene, fill in their answers with words and pictures, then cut out and fold. No glue or tape required! Once folded, it can be closed to show the space scene and the first letter of their name, then opened to display their 'about me' answers inside. The questions and clipart cannot be changed/edited. A picture showing how to fold is included. US and UK paper size/spelling included. There are 26 pages black and white pages - one for each letter of the alphabet. What educators are saying: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐'This went great to kick off my Outer Space unit on the first day of school. They really enjoyed the activity and they each presented the information about themselves to the class'. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐'This was a perfect first day of school activity. It was also a good way to kick off our science for the year since we study the solar system. The kids loved it! Thank you for sharing.' ⭐⭐⭐⭐'This was a fun addition to our classroom theme this year! The students enjoyed the space theme activity to share about themselves. The folding to have their initial on the front is so cute!' This year I wanted to "freshen up" our All About Me projects. This is also the first year that I will be blogging with my class from the BEGINNING of the year. (Last year, we didn't get started until about March.) I went to EdCampSC in the beginning of September and heard about an app called PixNTell that allows you to take pictures and record voice over them. I immediately thought of our All About Me projects and our class blog. BINGO! During the All About Me projects students are given a blank person poster. They take it home and decorate it as they want and return it to school. I choose a different student each day and they are given an opportunity to tell all about themselves. The other students are then given a chance to ask questions and interview them. When the speaking presentation is finished, the children then create and publish a book all about the presenter. Poster Presentation All About Me Poster Student Writing for the Class Book Front Cover I also decided to map our connections across the globe through our class blog, visitors, Google Hangouts, etc. I put up a map of the world and purchased colored pins. A few teachers down the hall thought that they would get a local map and use it to map where all the students lived, and... I totally stole this idea! (Thank you, Ms. Shirley and Ms. Greene!) I thought it was a great idea to map where we live on a local map before we started make global connections. My hope was to make location and mapping a little more concrete for my students. Fingers crossed. Our Local Map I wanted to capture this All About Me project process and this is where PixNTell came into play. At the conclusion of the presentation, I took each presenter to the side and made a short video using the PixNTell app. SUPER QUICK AND EASY! I then uploaded the video to the blog and Voila! - great way to preserve the projects for the blog. If a teacher was going to use a class blog for a digital portfolio, this is a great way to include student products AND reflection. I will be using this FREE app for other projects as well! Here are a few examples and don't forget to check out this year's class blog!

To kick off the homeschool year for my preK kiddos, I had them go through an "All About Me" unit. Here are the activities we completed... **************************************** I didn't have an explorer box for this unit. Instead, we spent some time completing an "I Am Special- God Made Me!" book. This is Smiley B's book... ...and this is the Puppy Prince's book. I found the idea via Pinterest HERE, but I came up with my own booklet pages. The older kiddos helped the littles complete the pages for their books, which was a big help to me! :0) ************************************ "H is for Hands" Prewriting Page (From This Reading Mama's All About Me PreK/K Pack.) ********************************* Body Part Patterning (From This Reading Mama's All About Me PreK/K Pack.) *********************************************** Rub-a-Dub-Dub Game (From This Reading Mama's All About Me PreK/K Pack.)
